    Somebody needs to show Allen some love here. How about a sponsor or something. I see all these other YTers getting free shit. It's about time Allen did! He works his ass off to get what he's got. Anybody want to start a go fund me?
    Buddy if I had the money I'd ship you one! You'd deserve it!

    Take one of the other ones and make a nurse tank that way you can double your volume of air and the compressor won't work as hard that's what I have and works great. Just a little idea

    Allen turn the old tanks into smoker parts spend the money and get a Quincey 80 gallon compressor you will never regret it.Been here done all of that.

      Steve is right you can never go wrong with a Quincy compressor

      Quincey is nice also ingersol rand might be a little more affordable

      I like the Champion compressors, I bought a used one made in 93, with the 80 gallon horizontal tank. Use it everyday.

    Stay away from diaphragm compressors. Piston compressors last longer, faster recovery and easy to maintain

    Too true -- tolerance for tinkering has a limit when something refuses to be fixed.

    Good quality tools pay for themselves over time, upfront cost is more, but over time works out better.

    Smokers and Grills are good Ideas! What about a couple of auxiliary tanks? have the GoodYear fill up the other 2 tanks with shutoff valves in between them...

    Sir I am trying to brag. I have a Quincy Qt5 and have had it for quite some time. It has never let me down. I would recommend one that has a spin on filter. But these use to be around 2000$ or so. Single phase can’t go wrong. You might even be able to find a used one mine has a 80 gallon tank. I hate to say this but the Ingersoll rand don’t appear to be the same quality. I hope this helps.

    Next time try to get a belt drive piston compressor. They last way longer and when they do fail you either replace the motor or the whole piston unit and you're back in action. Lowes, HD and HF all have them in 120v ~30 gallon units, though for as much as you're cutting and painting a 240v 60 gallon stationary would be justified.

  • @tommyscruggs7265
    @tommyscruggs7265 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have the same problem. But I have figured out if I take that little check spring valve up top out it will start and run. But all the air is coming out of that passage I can hold it down to to the threads and get in warm while the compressor is running and then cut it off and screw that valve in and turn it back on and my will run like a champ all day. Until it cools off. Then you have to repeat that process.

    Does it rain evertyday where you are? Seems like most of your videos show signs of recent rain. When I lived in south GA, I* could amost set my watch to the afternoon thunderstorms at 4:00. If the reed valves didn't fix it and the check valve is okay, then it's probably a cracked piston or rings. Seems like you've checked everything else.

    Think outside the box! I bought a Ingersol Rand T30 with a 5hp 3 phase motor. offered for $800 as a two phase motor. got there and it was 230V 3 phase. looked up a 5 ph 2 phase motor. It was $300, so the guy took $500 for it. got home and found that I really needed a three phase rotary converter. found a 10 hp converter with a 15" Dewalt Commercial Radial Arm saw for $300 Dude offered me $300 for the saw, so I ended up with a beast of a compressor for $500! Love it.
