Just use real African soap. One ingredient that helps is the ashes added on to it. Good for cleansing your skin. Wet your hand and rub your hand on the soap and add to hair. Also I use my nails. This is the only thing that has helped me get rid of that sour smell from my head.

I don't think it should be enough to have such a build up that I can't wash it out with 3 rinses and washes. It really makes me sad that Ive started to become smelly.
