Mrs. H is more than a flower aficionado. Her Sunday shave selections were excellent. You should allow her to choose more often. My SOTD was Stirling British Leather soap using my Rockwell 6S with a Lab Blue blade (3rd use). Post-shave was the usual alum, witch hazel, and balm followed by Stirling British Leather aftershave. A pleasant week ahead to you and the flower girl!
15:26 It's a fine finish to a shave, using an alum block. I always rinse mine, dry it well and leave it standing with the container open for a few hours. Just to make sure any moisture has evaporated out of it, before I close it up. 1:14 Nice blade pick Mrs H. 😊The Wilkinson Sword blades are some of my favorites.
The effort she took to contribute in your shave video is truly commendable. I will show this to my wife. Hopefully she picks my shave gear next time haha. Lovely content as always 👌
Happy Sunday. Beautiful flowers as always. Nice shave she picked out. You make a good team. Because something tells me it would be hard doing all the differant videos you do without her help. So well done the both of you. My own sotd was a pearl k2 with a kai blade. And Fine Italian Citrus soap and matching after shave. To me a very nice Sunday shave. Have a great week 🥰
Fantastic shave Paul💈💈Mrs H did a good job picking the products and her flower arrangement is beautiful. SOTD: Razor Emporium Fireside soap/splash, WCS American Independance razor WS blade, alum, witch hazel and AV 5 in 1 balm to finish...Great Enjoy the new week..
Well done Mrs. H with the Sunday shave choices and as always the beautiful flower arrangement. It was heart-warming. I hope you and Mr. H have a great day. My Sunday SOTD will be Clubman shave soap, Blackland Sabre razor, Avon Wild Country splash, Clubman powder, and just for Christmas, Stirling Christmas Eve EdP. It might seem odd but no partner (I live alone) so I can smell as I like I suppose 😊.
Mrs. H chose as traditionally British a shave as she could for you Paul. From the Edwin Jagger razor (from Sheffield), to the Wilkinson Sword blades (very old history from Durham), your own brush and finally not only Truefitt and Hill is from London but it is one of their most historical brands, one of the oldest with their founder receiving their first warrant from King George III. To top it all off, she chose Trafalgar, a historical and memorable victory for the British Empire. (I should know, I'm French so Trafalgar is the opposite to us). All in all, fantastic choices by Mrs. H. I wish you both a great week and Happy Holidays.
I’m a daily shaver Paul, would be interesting to see you now do a Monday shave to see your 24hr growth. Xmas special. Good choice Mrs H on the gear. 👏👏
Gorgeous flowers as usual by Mrs. H. Well chosen of products on top of that and the thumbnail, she should chose the products now and then when you have one of those day what to use and have no idea great shave i love the Truefitt and Hill jermyn street Collection oh thats another hoppy EDT fragrance not to be used as after shave Cologne i is befor EDT still i wouldn´t used as after shave , but hey use it as you wish right oh i had that problem not knowing that it damaged the alumblock so began drying it after use well clean or rinse then dry stay safe, cheers....Peter

Hello Mr. Paul, I love all of your videos... Just one question, you have said the soap you have used is few years old... Is that good to use the soap even if it expired? Few (creams) i know after few years it gets pretty hard (solid) is that good to use those?
I use vintage soaps such as Old Spice, Williams, Colgate, etc. from the 50s and up! They perform better than many modern commercially produced soaps! They have lost their scent, but perfectly fine to still use! The most important thing to do is allow your soaps to dry completely before resealing them. This way, no mold can ever form.
Nice shave, Paul. I have a question for you or anyone else: Would you use a shaving soap that costs over £30 a puck, namely Extrò Baroque shaving soap? Description: Extrò Baroque shaving soap could also be called Barocco shaving cream Grace's herb. this is what bacopa monnieri is called by the Anglo-Saxons, the extract of this plant is a fundamental component of this cream. In addition to shea butter, this shaving cream contains muscheta rose oil, known and used in high-end cosmetics for its healing and anti-wrinkle qualities. The absolute novelty of the Barocco shaving cream is, as we were saying, bacopa monnieri, commonly known as bacopa, has already been used for several years in Ayurvedic medicine. The extracts of this plant are used in high-end cosmetics in face creams as an anti-inflammatory and anti-wrinkle, especially for the most delicate parts such as the eye contour. The cream obtained from the assembly of the Barocco soap is extremely compact and hydrating, even for delicate skin. Personally, I never used this brand and at the prices, don't think I would.
True tere about shaving, you tries this and never goes back again, wonderful shave that she picked for you i see, and sweet flowers too by MrsH. Great one! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Best to check for TH-cam reviews or on the forums, but 30£ is a lot for a soap, you can get great artisan soaps for way under that

Hi Paul. Why always such sad music? Doesn't have to be hard rock or anything crazy but can we have something a bit more uplifting to start the day?
