With Chip Robinson, Sir Geoff Brabham and Elliott Forbes Robinson, the was my second favorite team. Since group 44, I was bred a Jag fan. Had the good fortune to meet and chat with almost every driver on the circuit.
Maybe the track organizers should get rid of the inner loop chicane and have a long back straightaway again. Why won't they get rid of the inner loop chicane now?
1:11:45 Tommy Kendall’s crash broke both of his legs and this along with another crash killing a driver in the same spot a month later lead to a bus stop chicane on the back stretch, Kendall did not return to racing until june 1992
I miss Varsha and Hobbs as commentators. Bob is professional and respectful to all forms of Motorsport and David has the sarcastic, dry color commentary and experience that is sorely lacking these days.
Could you please just leave black bars on the side on these old 4:3 broadcasts. These gigantic blurs are distracting and unauthentic. I love the uploads but this distraction makes these videos unenjoyable for me.
Thanks IMSA! I was a member of the NPTI (Nissan) team. Nice to see the GTP's
My favorite IMSA GTP team other than the NTPI Nissan were Dan Gurney's All American Racers Toyota Eagle

@@christophersmith8875 good thing the jag was such an attractive car 🤩🤩
Road racing was so cool in the 90’s. Thanks for sharing. 👍

Man, I miss Speedworld
Thanks for these christmass gifts. IMSA, the channel for mecanic sports lovers!!!
It's worth watching the intro just for young David Hobbs and Bob Varsha! LOL
These two were great to listen to.
absolute favorite team
Thanks for uploading
I think it was this race plus the NASCAR one where JD McDuffie was killed was what made Watkins Glen build the Inner Loop.

Looking fwd to "23 GTP with "Hypercars"!🏁 till then, I'm thoroughly enjoying these classics.
Que grande Juan Fangio ll dejando a Argentina en lo más alto del podío 🇦🇷🇦🇷
start - 13:00
This music its starts with is FIRE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks IMSA!
The Intrepid was badass. But not enough to beat the damn Nissan
"damn Nissan, ruining everything by making cool cars and being successful"
I know I know, I hate it too.
Yeah @Peter Mayer -- TK & Wayne Taylor were great in the Intrepid. Was definitely one of my favorites back in the day!
デイビージョーンズが飛ばしていますね😉
I remember that crash of Kendal I was working for Nissan at the time then years later I raced with him in the Trans Am series
The good old days when circuits were grass and asphalt, no need to argue about track limits.
More please !!!!!
Merci beaucoup
Thank You for posting. Went to the Glen many times. Please don't put the sides of film out of focus it takes away

Thanks for the history, I was wondering why the bus stop wasn't there.
Parker Johnstone still races in vintage (SOVREN) I get a rush every time he laps me lol

1:11:34 Tommy Kendall crash
Nascar driver J.D. McDuffie loses his life at the same spot 2 months later turn 5. August 11th my birthday
