    Have one of these now just about a year and a half. Slightly higher spec, has a mix of electric and manual spools, but they have upgraded the cab slightly since i bought mine. Loved the comment about the telehandler 😅 Actually seen some reviews calling it a nice little yard tractor for someone with maybe fifty cows or less than a 100 acres but still they would recommend you get a telehandler! Madness 🤣

    I really appreciate a review on a mid sized tractor. We are a small mixed farm and this is exactly what we are looking at. We aren’t in the new category but tried many tractors while looking and have eventually found something that fits our bill. We ended up buying a class 410 really well specked tractor in our budget and good dealer back up locally. It’s a very capable tractor for our needs and capable of doing all that I require. Big isn’t always best as you quite rightly said. If I could have afforded the dynamic command it would have been my choice but maybe next time 👍😊

    Fair play lads ye hit the nail on the head with the teleporter /tractor comparison. You won't stir slurry or plough a field with a teleporter but you can stack bales or clean out sheds with a loader tractor

    I love this channel (along with LM and George's stuff), you guys clearly put a lot of thought, time and consideration into your content to make it so enjoyable, well done, Its a shame this fab and addictive watching wasn't around when I was younger, the beauty of technology in agriculture and social media has really evolved to allow this to happen, keep it coming!!!!! Whens the next podcast?

    Your comment we're not here to sell tractors that's up to the dealer 🙄 well I reckon with a presentation like that you'll sell more tractors than they would with their ad campaign 👍 superb video 👌

    Another great video, thought the old t5 was ok for what it was when I used to drive one, would love to see what these newer ones are like. Going on about loader tractors they do have their place and where I work now we have telehandlers of different ages, a 200hp loader tractor and a loading shovel and all have their place on our 10000 acre farm( alot of contracted land) but all have their benefits

    That transmission seems silky smooth between changes, a fair capable tractor for sure !

  • @olasteer2197
    @olasteer2197 ปีที่แล้ว

    it is nice to have that smooth back n forth transmission without using your feet great on the field when you need to go over something again and the linkage arm lift button is right beside it

    Of all NH I like is TS80, simple nice tractor but T6 n T7 clumpier tractors. I reckon T5 is prefect tractor, there only couple things I would change interior colour back to TM dark cab n upgrade technology pack as then I could measure amount of feed n sow my field with GPS, plus I like electric spools. This size tractor with hp you could pull 18t chaser bin too.

    I enjoyed this, nicely done and covered. was there anything you could find in the T5 to critique? something you would have liked to seen added or tweaked? greetings from NZ.

      A bit more room behind the seat maybe ? More of an observation than a criticism but overall it was spot on.

    I'm disappointed that New Holland didn't modify the cabin, I suffered a lot from our t6070 at the end of the day.

    So not the biggest fan of the tractor and especially the trans then 🤣. I have had a try on a t6 175 but only moving it round the yard hopefully i might get a go hedgebashing this winter

    • @torquingpoint5057

      DirectDrive is great but Dynamic Command is more refined.

  • @Rx37Legacy
    @Rx37Legacy ปีที่แล้ว

    Hrm hrm... You do tend to like your telehandlers over there in the UK for some reason. They barely exist up in Scandinavia because like you said, why would you have one when you've got a front loader? :)

    • @torquingpoint5057
      @torquingpoint5057  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think because the UK stood still with loader development where as in Europe they improved them continually.

    • @Rx37Legacy
      @Rx37Legacy ปีที่แล้ว

      @@torquingpoint5057 Well brands like Stoll (which i'm guessing that NH loader is?) and Quicke have been around for 15+ years now. I don't know how much they've developed in that time, other than maybe loader suspension? Like everything sure they progress all the time bit by bit, little by little....

    • @torquingpoint5057
      @torquingpoint5057  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Quicke have been around for 40+ years that I know of
