James Dreyfus is a criminally underrated actor and a champion of womens rights which in this clown world makes him a hero in my book. The vitriol he receives on Twitter has got to be seen to be believed. He has lost work, friends and probably many nights sleep for sticking his head above the parapet and I for 1 appreciate his bravery and integrity. He's also done a lot for animal welfare - what a wonderful human being. Thank you too Andrew - I've never seen this segment before but your interviewing technique is excellent 👏👏😊❤

'I thought the future would have less labels, not more' - James Dreyfus. This is exactly how it should be. The gay community just wanted freedom to live their lives the way they wanted to. Nothing more, and yet now people in the LGBT+ expect they should be given the best of everything or anything or else. That is not community, that is far left Fascism.

LGBTQ doesn't represent the majority of gays. Nobody voted for them. The movement is a Marxist cult. It uses the platform of gay causes to damage social institutions. It is not colourful or amusing. As a gay man I dread LGBTQ supporters, not from some phobia, but from fear of lethal boredom.

When Radcliffe and the other two little snots dissociated themselves from JK Rowling, I posted on my facebook page something to the effect that they were arrogant, ungrateful nonentities, who'd be nothing without her. My grown-up (50+) friends all agreed with me, and one of about 50 said that they'd been good for her too. (Seriously?)
The biggest backlash came from the under-35s, who ignored my point and attacked her for her beliefs, which I don't think were what they thought they were. One is a girl who wants to be a boy, and said JKR wants people like her - sorry, them - dead.
Impressive that a generation that can't write decent English is so talented at creating straw man arguments.

Each story was an insular episode but with subtle clues and an eventual overarching plot that would come to fruition in the final episode/duel episode of each series. You could easily miss an episode and still get the plot of the next and final, and if you happened to see said episode another day it was exciting and there was no homework reviewing previous episodes just to understand it.
Also to add to Janice's point, I think Matt's run wasn't bad after during series 6 was it....after he ditched that mary sue Clara, but yes most of the episodes in his run were dire with Amy and Rory clogging up any character development, it was just sooo boring.

Someone who had worked with them loads in the past, they just "indefinitely postpone" the CD starring him and David Tennant together. All because of Barrowman being a camp extrovert who used to get his privates out on set. An incident which all of the people on set were fine with and most of whom became close friends with Barrowman, but the Twitter mob decided to be offended on their behalf and try to get him cancelled.

    Well, here's a first.
A clip from GB news that I really enjoyed and agreed with, largely because it doesn't involve Nigel Farage!
I loved Gimme, Gimme and as a gay man, didn't find it the least bit "offensive," and nor did any other gay person I knew and kudos to the amazing Kathy Burke for saying "fuck 'em!" about the critical Gay Press, at an awards ceremony.
Jonathan Harvey was/is a brilliant writer, although I much prefer his later work, "Beautiful People," about 2 gay lads growing up in Reading in the 90's.
Very funny, but with moments of real pathos.
I also think that Dreyfus is spot on when it comes down to freedom of speech.
Contrary to popular myths peddled by some on the right, not all of us "lefties" believe in "cancel culture," or de-platforming people.
    Challenge people?
Yes, of course, but expect to be challenged back.
Silencing people whose views you don't agree with doesn't change people's views and sounds to me, very much like the sort of bullying/fascist tactics that we're supposed to be against.
I know exactly where I stand on the issues of gender equality, LGBT rights and racism (and no, I'm not in favour of "colour blind casting" or worried about "cultural appropriation" that's been going on in Music for centuries and is a good thing, IMO!) and am happy to argue my corner.
But, I have no intention of denying anybody else the same rights!
There should be no reason why we can't talk openly and candidly about any issue, and have a sensible discussion, without people on *all* sides of the debate getting hysterical and deriding anybody who opposes us as "haters!" I *hate* that expression! 😉
We might even change a few minds, or have ours changed?
I might even end up supporting Nigel Farage! 🤣
OK< that's maybe going a bit *too* far!
