OMG. Except Kennedy can actually communicate like a human being in person even when dressed like a Mayfield 4 Alien.... whereas Bacon cannot, is too cool or simply cannot be bothered.
@@Roonagu If you'd seen Deep Purple play it live, you might have something to say. I did. 1974. It was heavy. Since it's nearly 50 years later, you should shut the fuck up.
@@mrtiesthatbind Yeah, sadly if they only knew that Alter Bridge was the three talented guys from Creed and Myles " My name is Mike, but my friends call me Thor god of Thunder" Kennedy.
@@_Chipster i think they actually know that three of four Alter Bridge members are formed Creed. They just won't give these blokes a chance because no matter what they do, these muppets always think they will always be in the shadow of Creed or merely Creed part two. There are three concerts I have been to where I didn't know anything about the band going in, but sure as hell knew who they were when I left. The first was Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush at Cal Jam II, the second was Yesterday and Today at the Golden West Ballroom in the late 70's, and the most recent one was when I stayed in the infield of a NASCAR race in Fontana in 2005, and a band I hadn't heard of before named Alter Bridge performed. My son and I were hanging onto the fence right in front of the stage. As I said to my son afterwards: "Now THAT was a rock-n-roll show!"
The Smoke on the Water on the lap steel guitar sounds like the In my Time of Dying by Led Zeppelin bridge riff. It could have been played in a lap steel guitar who knows.
Myles is a gift to music, he has so much experience in so many different fields and he deserves every inch of fame he receives, every body in alter bridge does
To me, once heavy, always heavy. Just because other newer bands come along that go heavier, or are considered heavier, that doesn't lesser the heaviness of older bands.

For the love of ROCK, ROLL, AND LIVE CONCERTS MR. MYLES KENNEDY!! WHY oh WHY have you and/or ALTER BRIDGE not toured with IAN AND BIG WRECK in recent years?!?!?!?
Me too. I saw them both times on walking the sky tour. Saw them for the first time in Detroit October of 2019 with Dirty Honey opening and February of 2020 in Fort Wayne which was my last concert to date before the pandemic
@@tylerpatterson4787 because here people are still stuck with Creed since three of four members of Alter Bridge are former Creed members. It's stupid and embarrassing

Myles is truly talented artist... amazing singer, songwriter n' guitarist
He is an A leaguer
All you Myles fans, check out Ian Thornley of Big Wreck. Myles mentioned him and plays their song The Oaf in this vid!!
Just did, fantastic songs on that record, i'm gonna check the rest out as well..

Man is a beast on the guitar and don't even get me started on his voice

Love this guy so much, AB is my favorite band, and i was at his "Year Of The Tiger" show in London on 2018, the live performance is just top-notch!

My favorite vocalist and a criminally underrated guitarist
The legend himself! This man must be protected at all costs!!
Wow! The last one where he slides had an almost Santo & Johnny quality to it. Almost unmatchable but he did it!
Yeah that song is called In Stride. I love that riff.
Nice shout out to sir Thornley!

The way he played "Smoke On The Water" sounded as the AC/DC song "Stormy May Day".
