So glad that you both liked the gifts 😊!! Only one little thing… my name is Lara not Laura 😅. Lara as in Lara Croft the movie 🎥. 😂😂😂 Was lovely to see so many new friends and lovely fabric! The London Eye is on a lease until 2028 according with reports, but the current owners have requested to be made permanent. My feeling is that it will stay in place as it’s such a part of London and for London visitors. Was THE tallest wheel when launched in 1999. It’s a big part of our New Year celebrations here in London and all the big and great moments that the United Kingdom goes through. In covid times the wheel was illuminated every Thursday in blue in honour of the NHS, our National Health Service. It has embedded itself into the London fabric and we all hope that will stay with us for many years to come. If ever moved something special would have to be found to refill its space, but would be a difficult task as the wheel it’s located at the edge of the River Thames. 😊 😊
I just love these videos! Thanks for sharing some of your retreats and attendees with us! It allows those of without the budget to attend, to receive a little bit of the joy and frivolity everyone enjoys during the retreats! Great job 👏!
So nice to see so many of the retreaters! Angie’s voice reminds me so much of my favorite aunt. I love when she comes to visit as it brings back so many memories. favorite aunt story: she was a seamstress and once (when I was 7 or 8) I was watching her iron something that she was working on … when she started taking out the pins and poking them into her boobs I was so freaked out … she had to explain falsies to me😂
Love seeing all the fun you Ladies have. I also got a kick out of the people in the background. They start to come thru the door and realize you are recording and turn away to avoid the camera.
Just watch Jordan in doorway pretending to stay out of camera sight and it explains where all the kids get their fun attitudes on camera. Great visit today, thanks.
I just returned from England! I Got to visit Liberty of London!! So great to go there! Please forgive but I spent my fabric budget there this month. And the Eye was indeed in London! just to say liberty fabric is great but your fabric is also very great!!
Good to hear that Anna is there. I was pretty sure I saw Nick hovering in the back room doorway! Hope to see them when we are there in a couple of weeks!
I was watching an Arne and Carlos TH-cam video today (Sit and Knit For a Bit, posted today, May 19, 2024) timestamp 23:55 - and they were talking about the release of their new fabric line mfg by Louis & Irene. I was wondering if it was going to be something that you guys will be carrying?

London eye not moving.
It was apparently a satirical Scottish article that was picked up as if it was serious.
What happened to the may 15 book club newsletter. Did I miss something?
No, it was totally delayed! A host of unfortunate events. But will be talking about it on Wednesday morning chat.
Woops! Held it upside down! Sorry! 😬
Fact Check: Satirical London Eye dismantling rumour shared as if real

It should be up now. Brianna forgot to put it on! Lol.
