@JardySantiago I was thinking of this as a variation as cross step rather than a single basic move by itself. I think of basic as being the foundation to other moves. For example, if I were to teach someone a cross step drag, they would have to learn cross step first. Just my opinion, and I totally respect your way of teaching, pleease dont take it the wrong way. I absolutely LOVE your videos.
@apostybboy No offense taken bro. The reason why I call this a basic step is because it's a very commonly taught (in class) and used step, but for some reason no one really goes over it on video because theyre busy trying to show loose legs, shuffles and other moves that have "official" names. The cross step is also the base for the loose legs, but it doesn't keep the loose legs from being its own foundation move even though it is essentially just the cross step and heel step put together. :)
