Hi! Not at all. In fact, you can place objects wherever you choose, except for a couple that I mention in the guide. If something is off due to an item that is not in its "right place", the game will point it out for you. Happy gaming!
Hey there! Once you finish the game, check your photo album to revisit levels with toilets. There are six in total: 2004, 2007, 2010, 2013 OR 2015, and 2018 (remember to flush both in 2018). Flush them, then press start to advance to the next snapshot. It should save automatically and won't take much time. Plus, you won't need to replay the entire level or game. Hope this helps, and best of luck!
