You stated you wanted to get allied with Chorfs, unfortunately they are the only chaos faction Archaon doesn't get diplomacy buffs with so the faster option will be to just go to war with Astragoth who isn't too far south of you, take and keep all of his settlements except the last (make sure you don't go for a dark fortress settlement last) and then force vassalize him after attacking the last settlement and then gifting him back all his territory you took so his faction can recover. Will actually probably want to invade most of the Dark Lands with an army since there are 3-4 dark fortresses there (including Zharr Naggrund and Drazoath's starting settlement). Or it may be best to head east, take the dark fortresses on the way to beating up and claiming Kholek, then have Kholek go further east to subjugate Zaitan and Vilich while you circle back to wipe out Grimgor before his faction becomes an omega level threat and then claim all the dark lands for yourself while enslaving the chorfs and forcing them to arm your legions of chaos. You can have Kholek run rampant on Cathay (would be too much of a repeat to have Vilich do it) and send Vilich via sea lane to the other side of the map to start taking dark fortresses and adding Valkia to the grp.
I cannot understand this game. How can i learn the basics to follow the story. I just wait to watch and understand like if it was a lord of the rings movie.
I am happy to see RuinousInsight not spending the whole battle zoomed in completely. It really do make the fights much better with better oversight and having a better feeling of a real TW Warhammer Battle. The zoom ins are fine for a little, just to see some closeup of fights. But most of the battle should be zoomed out to also see how the battles are actually played out.
If Be'lakor is the first child who got ditched by his parents for being too rowdy, then Archaon is the perfect middle/second child who gets showered with love and praise by his parents and can (literally) get away with murder.
I don't think I'll ever get used to the way you emphasise slAnesh instead of slanEsh, but that's probably just an accent thing 😂 Archaon is one of my favourite lords, he's just such a wrecking ball. I normally keep him off his horse, tends to make him more survivable in my campaigns. Dorgar ofc will be very sad but the added anti-large and middle fire danger is too much imo.

1:03:30 I was wondering where you'd be on that. On one hand, the Swords of Chaos riding side by side with bear cav would be funny...on the other, all of your vassals hate each other and hate you for being allied with them, so it basically removes any trade income.
Lore wise Ograx should devote to Khorne since he was a Beast Fiend of Khorne before joining Archaon. Also his bonus vs large (you don't lose the unique trait when you convert) combined with the bonus vs infantry that khorne exalted heroes get turns him in to a strong all arounder. Nurgle exalted heroes are stronger and more durable due to their access to aoe healing but they don't get as good of mount options and don't blender infantry as fast. But you can always mix and match to get the best of both worlds and Archaon gives increased exalted hero capacity to help. WoC is my favorite faction to play and Archaon is probably my most played. The only real downside to the WoC update is that he was given a mixed lore tree instead of fire which is more thematic than pure fire but the high tier spells he gets are garbage (Transmutation of Lead and Purple Sun). I'd suggest only getting a few good spells in the first part and then getting a dedicated sorcerer of Tzeentch for some strong damage spells (start with fire sorc and upgrade to tzeentch so you retain the lore of fire passive, combined with Archaon's lore of fire passive you can maintain a high uptime of fire weakness on enemies).

If I was you, to save points, I'd skip the Chaos Warriors buffs on Archaon's unique tree as you will fairly quickly replace them with a combination of Chosen, Chaos Knights (Tzeentch work best and can upgrade to Doom Knights but a few Khorne ones can be nice to upgrade to Skull Crushers), and as many Aspiring Champions as you can get (these are by far the strongest units WoC get, SFO doesn't put any unit caps on them, and unlike your previous god aligned WoC campaigns they get all the research tree buffs such as barrier, regeneration, summoning units of pink horrors, and hellblade passive) although none of Archaon's unique skills buff the Aspiring Champions they share all the red line buffs with Chosen. Making a front line of Aspiring Champions with a few units of super tanky Tzeentch Chosen with halberds lets you deal with both mass infantry and more elite units.
16:47 The gate pathing is super janky, one thing I found sometimes works is to make the column narrow enough to fit through the gate facing forward, then inch it through using arrow keys to just have them nudge forward. Super impractical, but hey, it saves vigor.

I'm so excited for this campaign, Archaon is one of my favorite Legendary Lords in the game and I love seeing campaigns of him because he is such a badass! And the quote at the beginning was such an epic quote from the man himself. I can't wait to come up with names for units when they become more prevalent as I love WoC units so much. To start off I doubt you'll keep Undivided Marauders but naming one the Spirit of the Kurgan would be nice as the Kurgan make up most of the Chaos Marauders in the lore. And a unit of Marauder Horsemen named Spirit of the Hung for the same reason as the Spirit of the Kurgan.
Diederick Kastner made his way through the Chaos Wastes and when he received the Crown of Damnation he was declared Everchosen by the RUINOUS Power himself to unite or dominate the tribes of Chaos and Norsca and bring Damnation to the weaklings in the south. Looking forward to this campaign
Ought not to worry about vassals disliking and waging war against each other or rebelled against you since to my knowledge they very rarely do,but yea,might be good to establish a rule not to vassalized non-chaos factions for lore accuracy but hey the decision is entirely up to you. Unit name suggestion for Chosen: Holy Icon Desecrator Chaos Knights: Forsaker of Honor.
