INDONESIA VLOG #5 | Food, Dancing, Malioboro and Waterpalace YOGYAKARTA (JOGJA)

- In this vlog, me and my mom have travelled to Yogyakarta! Before our trainride we had some streetfoud named Lotek and it was so delicious! We lost some of the film where we taste the food, but I can assure you that it was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted, and it only cost 10.000 rupiah (0,66 eurocents)! After the food we travelled to Yogyakarta with the train and it was the most beautiful view, but we travelled late in the afternoon and in the evening, so we could not really enjoy this view.
The first day in Jogja we visited a Batik fabric, where they make the traditional clothes of Indonesia. After seeing how this traditional clothing was made, we got some food and walked the streets of Jogja. We met an amazing artist, who gave us a little tour around the Water Palace and took us to his families studio. They all make beautiful paintings and he explained how Indonesian weddings are being held, which I will post in another video!
In the evening we went to 'The Paris of Java', one of the busiest streets in Jogja: Malioboro. The atmosphere around this place is really good and we met some truely wonderful people there.

Love the song you used in the beginning. We used it on one of our recent Bali videos. We also spent some time in Jogja in December. When we visited Taman Sari the pools were pretty much empty. It looks much nicer full of water in your video. We're going to share that vlog next 😉
