Interesting. My accident caused two broken discs. I have night orthotic to relax tight muscles and the surgeon maxillo facial advised against surgery as it has little success rate and discs can often displace again. My discs are bent over in L shape. I haven’t been able to chew or talk properly for a year since accident and I’m a teacher. Next appt is with this same expert who suggests Botox in muscles to unstiffen them. No idea how this helps the discs but I’ll do anything that may help me talk again. Do you think this protocol is good?
