I love seeing the Furby Booms getting more attention out there! Sometimes we focus too much on the 90s furbies and we forget the cuteness of the Furby Booms series! They're very colorful and have unique ears! 😍
@@candle9093 i used one of the normal cr krafts spines, it stays together but has trouble holding the weight of the head. perhaps a thicker one might work? i used 1/4 inch
DUDE!! i cant thank you enough for this video. several months ago i was trying to turn a 2012 into a long furby but I couldn’t figure out how to and gave up. I tried so hard to find some sort of tutorial at the time but there was nothing! Im definitely going to try and pick my project back up and follow this video though. thank you so much for making this!
Where have y'all been getting your spines at? I was really sweating before finding this tutorial because I wasn't sure how to use the 2012 model I have (it looks virtually the same? But I might have to crack it open before I make that judgement), and aside from that is just the lack of ways to find a nice old spine online
Sorry for the late reply! Search Furby Spine on Amazon. You’ll see some blue tube thing with orange ends and all you need to do is rip the orange ends off and connect them for a spine.

A little tip: you can actually take the ears off if you pull them up so you don't have to cut the fur

I JUST got done taking my furby's skin off. I don't have the materials to make the long part, though.
I managed to get the fur of the ears without cutting it
just slowly and slowly pull both sides off the ears

i cut the old skin and flattened it out adding half an inch for seam allowances!
