Tonight we have 3 stories of Encounters from outdoors people that have been out in the wild and experienced some very frightening situations. Our first story is from a fly fisherman in Montana who found something lurking in the dark. Our 2nd story a young man was snowmobiling in the Sierra Nevada and had something in the forest reach out and almost Grabbed him! Our 3rd story is from one of our viewers who went camping in Pennsylvania and had a series of frightening events happen at night while in their tents.

The fact that some are able to quit drinking after a single drink 🍺 is a point to ponder. You are doing a fine job producing these entertaining videos sir!

@@janeg7475 hello Jane, Divine Intervention was the case for me. However, it came w a large $$ attached. Third DUI. Was released from jail, went home and drank half a pint of Vodka. I perfectly remember how disgusting it tasted, and the last sip I took I told myself that was the last one ever. It was very disgusting. So I don’t want to drink and I am repulsed at the site of alcohol in general thanks be to God. Attending quite a few AA meetings every week helps. Also I get to see some of the other members slowly returning back to being healthy with a brain that is not waited down by excessive drinking.

OMG Chris, how do you hike with that bloody metal cup clinking around on your belt? That would drive me nuts!! I knows its probably good for noise/predators etc., but I had a pair of hiking boots, and the left boot would make this 'brrruhb' squeak noise every time the toe flexed. aaaargh...... I just talk to myself or the dog now. Congrats on the subs!!
My nephew, a retired Navy Seal, lives in Montana and goes hunting by himself in the mountains. I have always been afraid of him falling and breaking a limb or having some other accident and being stuck up there alone. After hearing these stories about some of the sightings in Montana I’m now worried that he’s not alone!

Wether he's lost or lying injured in some out of sight crevice, a locator beacon would save his life.

Great stories, Chris! Through 60+ years of backpacking I have never experienced any Bigfoot, Yeti or other "monster-type" of creatures. I've camped around the world. The only stories I can relate are in England my tent nearly got trampled by a herd of elk; the other I awoke in my hammock in the highlands of Virginia to an awful smell and a curious wild pony staring at me. Most other trips were uneventful. Oh, on a van camping trip I asked one night to relieve myself, opened my sliding door only to find a 400+ pound bear sniffing my campfire. Another van camping trip I nearly stepped on a skunk as I was checking to see what triggered my solar lights mounted on my roof rack. These scary stories have me wanting to experience just once.
Well you'll never experience it because they don't exist. Also I dislike the "forest goes silent" trope... ya the wind stops moving occasionally and forest animals don't make noise when the wind stops.
Anything is possible
There are no elk in England. Deer, maybe.

I miss the mountains and the smell of the trees. But I'm still too afraid to camp or hike. Living in Louisiana makes me realize how much I miss the west coast
I live in Louisiana also. Like to camp but I can’t make myself go camping in hot humid Louisiana lol.

I used to live in Maine by a lake where we had Cedar trees and, in the evening, the mosquitos used to come out in squadrons so I stay as far away from cedar trees as possible! Anyway, congratulations on your 100k achievement, you deserve it.

Just by the fact that the first story is TOLD is revealing as to the non violent intentions toward humans. Not to mention the Sasquatch only took two fish as opposed to all of them. I would think the Sasquatch is pretty hungry to.
But when the dogs disappeared maybe the Sasquatch wasn’t in such a good mood.

If you encounter anything like that while your fishing, leave the fish, consider it tax for a great day in the wilderness...And, don't spend a second night if something molests your tent while camping.. Common sense advice, but, turns out, common sense isn't that common...100k congrats...

Great stories, great story telling Chris. I’ve noticed that the seems to be a common denominator with these stories… a large rock being thrown into the water or thrown. Has this been something that’s associated with sightings of Bigfoot or other paranormal activity? Dogman etc.. great videos
