- Rad Industries builds some fine ‘ol Supras. Race spec, drift spec, street spec… and while there’s nothing easy about building a full-bore racecar, there’s a certain balance that it takes to build a tasteful street car. So when Peter - one of Dan’s customers - gave him carte blanche on building his personal street car (with some input of course), this is the result.

But than again.... when you hop into a 600whp Supra... not knowing..... and after the first pull, dude tell's you it got a 1000hp..... you'll believe him... or her... :)

Why is everyone always complaining about MKIV Supra prices? Nobody bats an eye when r34 skylines bring 6 figures. The market determines the price. You want a cheaper Supra, get a rhd non turbo model.
170k miles .... its been DRIVEN. It does not matter how much was rebuilt, replaced or fixed, its got 170k on the odometer.
Its not the original paint which sucks, seats were swapped out, dash panels changed out. The owner modified it to HIS taste, if he plans to keep it forever then fine but to sell this car, might be hard unless you find that one kid that wants it and daddy has a lot of $$ to burn.
That $170k Supra that sold had 10k miles on it. Mine has 30k miles and its a 98 gte with targa top and all original parts

Hell yeah about high mileage cars getting driven! I got 180k miles on my E46 M3 all original drivetrain and still regularly take it to track day events and autox! Would love to hit 200k with it!

As a Supra owner for over 20 years (MKIV and MKV) there is no such thing as a TRD carbon anything it's all custom work maybe a TRD Carbon Steering Wheel exists and even that's a "Maybe" nothing TRD makes is Carbon on this car. I'm sure other Supra MKIV owners can verify that but for sure there is no such thing as a Carbon TRD Hood or Carbon TRD Wing, again NO SUCH THING... That wing is called an RMM (Rod McMillian TRD "Style" Carbon Wing) I will put $1,000 dollars on that should anyone say otherwise. Why Rad Dan doesn't know this is beyond me, perhaps he just drives them or something, I'm still shocked he doesn't know this.
But then again so many things are wrong with this car the two I can immediately point out are the BorgWerner turbo should definately be Precision and if anything the AEM managements system should be PRO-EFI. And thats just for starters any Mkiv Owners out there will and can verify that for you as well.
You are correct. No such thing as a carbon TRD wheel either; anything that looks like it is would likely be the carbon wheel Toyota put on 97+ SZ-R and RZ A80s (JDM only) with a TRD airbag centre. Not sure why the love for precision turbos is, outside the US they are generally regarded as not much better than china-spec turbos. Edit: And that BW shits over anything Precision (and most other companies, inc Garrett) makes, but it is $$.

Man, I want to do something similar to my '05 GTO, but it's so unreliable every year I take it out of the garage. F*ck GM. The car is wonderful, but GM quality is just embarrassing and I'll never purchase one of their products again.

Always fancied a Supra back in their day, but it's all become a bit "fashion show" these days. And whilst the little Honda's of the era become ever more interesting, the 90s Japanese turbo GTs just seem like early, worse attempts at what everyone else builds new, now.

180K miles isn't shit for a supra!! These cars are absolute tanks. My 83' supra has 85k miles, my 86.5' has 251k miles, and my 87' daily supra had the odometer quit working at 301K miles and that was ten years ago. I'd imagine it's closer to 400k on the chassis now and still treating me great.
