I have to agree. The white Chevy R10 would be fantastic content. It’s a clean slate and can be worked on whenever time permits. With some upgrades that could be a very pricey truck. The market on those body styles is climbing very quickly.
Randy, that Chevy Blazer/GMC Jimmy is going to be a great ground up rebuild. Clean the whole thing up, straighten out the wiring. It will be a blast and give you a ton of content for us to watch. The C10 that does not have an engine would be a possible donor that could work together. The 2015 Honda Accord is nice but you are right, these Japanese cars are getting expensive.

I think it is a lot for the Blazer/Jimmy considering it started life as a gas vehicle and somebody put a diesel in it. To get it to the $27,000 USD value, it would have to be pout back to original condition, and that would be cost prohibitive.

Hello Randy hope all is well with you. The accord looks nice. It is barely broken in at 93k. Love love love the Jimmy! It has way more than 66k but who cares it will run forever with that diesel. Some of them came from the factory with a diesel! The old chevy truck is a lot of work, just drop an older small block in it, those headers will bolt right up. If you want to change the trans put an overdrive auto in it to get the best value if it does not already have one. Bad day for you for getting cars started. Good luck! I worked at a Chevy store in 1987. Man it was nice to get into a brand new K5 and drive it. Even with that engine the Buy It Now is way out of line. The Copart listing does say it is a run and drive though.
Chevrolet switched their normal naming in 1987 from the K series (K10, K20, K30) for four-wheel drive trucks and C Series (C10, C20, C30) for two-wheel drive trucks to the V series (V10, V20, V30) for 4WD and R series for 2WD (R10, R20, R30) This same change was made to the Suburban and Blazer and the GMC Sierra and Jimmy. GM only kept the V and R naming for five years, so any truck made between 1987 and 1991 will use these names (GM changed the naming in 1989 to the more modern 1500/ 2500/ 3500 naming scheme, so any 1989, 1990 or 1991 truck will be a V1500/ V2500/ V3500 or R1500/ R2500/ R3500.

Both of the squarebodies can be sold for thousands as they sit if sold in the rust belt. K and V are for 4x4 I.E K10 V10 C and R are for 2wd. I.E. C10 R10 They changed the letter in 1987 And a Jimmy is just the GMC version of the Chevy Blazer.
Hey randy, you should look into a UV lens filter and using the lens hood to cut back on some of the glare in the video, will make the image pop and give you that "cinema" like look.

The BMW X5 was reported at a dealer auto auction in October of 2020 with the exact same mileage it has here, so it must have blown up or something and they towed it to Copart.
That Blazer looks like an OK start to a for a resto or an off-road build. I have a nice 89 Jimmy but if I didn’t have 4 other vehicles in my driveway I would consider bidding on it. Can’t have too many K5s LOL.

They were cheap really hard compound non road hugging Discount Tire specials back in the late 89s/90s. No telling what’s wrong with that car if it’s been under water. That square body was a 1987 model which was the first year for the R/V designations. I am not sure if you know, but the new round body truck was introduced in March of 1987 so they were both on the lots at the same time, which is why the 1987 square body trucks used that designation. In 1988 the R/V series was only the Suburban, Blazer and the heavy duty trucks.

That's not a Formula. It is a base model V8 car. 170hp LO3. Formulas didn't have the body cladding at the bottom of the doors and the spoiler was different. The wheels would be Formula specific as well.

I think the Porsche's battery is so dead that it can jest light up that little screen that was same for BMW i hooked up with the same charger as you have but the battery was so dead that it jest light up little bit the dashboard.
