That Roadmaster has lots of life left. It has the much more desirable leather interior - my 1992 has the cloth upholstery and I wish it were the leather every time I get in the car. That color combination was one of the more attractive that Buick ever offered on the Roadmaster - Emerald Green exterior with the beige leather upholstery. With the 5.7 Liter and the damaged fender in my area, I would anticipate that it would sell for between $1,750 and $1,950.
I think partly due to the classic nature of the Buick roadmaster coupled with your love of it - your passion (which is why you have 265,000 subscribers - it's not just about the cars) will provide good enough content that it will well pay for itself!

I bought a 1996 Road Master this year, 71K miles, I am the second owner. Replaced Tires, AC compressor, & spark plugs. I bought a vacuum pump and Freon, did the AC myself. Perfect interior. I love it. Best ride ever, better than Cadillac. Paid $2K for the car. This car will last me for at least 15 years.
The Mercedes C-class is the rare Luxury trim, with the hood ornament. I bought a 2008 “luxury” c-class. The benefit, is the sport as a sportier suspension, and steering system, and doesn’t have the “Mercedes star on the hood”, so this car looks so nice and classy
I needed a bit bigger car with more trunk and cabin space. At the end of the summer I traded in my 2016 MCS with 27K miles and purchased a 10 year old car with over 100K miles that was well taken care of. The car still looks very presentable inside and out, but this Mercedes in your video is something special :). It all depends on amount of time and care we put into our vehicle and most people that lease a car usually don't care too much to check on maintenance items unless they plan on purchasing it at the end of the lease.
Randy.... I own 2 Subaru's (both 2019) and with the boxer engine... it is recomended to let them warm up for 3-5 minutes as they idle high at first but once they warm up... they idle back down to normal!! Also... if you notice in your video.... the little blue light that is on in the guage cluster... thats the light letting you know that the car is cold and is not to recommended running temps!! That light will go off after those few minutes of warming up!! No worries on high idle from the looks of it and if I had the extra cash, id look into buying that car

With you looking at the Subaru... Bought my hubby a 2018 crosstrek all decked out from CO hail damage like you've never seen before. Cold start sounds like absolute garage. I think it has to do with the boxer Engine. 18K all in all with repairs for a 33k car. Win for me.
If you want a timing chain Subaru look for Outback from 00-14 in H6-3.0, 3.0R, or 3.6R trims (all fantastic H6 engines), or Legacy from 08-14 in 3.0R or 3.6R (later 2 engines from the Outbacks). Great engines, pretty bulletproof, and through 14 they used 4/5 speed autos rather than CVTs for additional reliability. Those particular years and trims are some of the most reliable Subarus you can buy, and they drive great too (especially the 00-09s).

And as far as the Roadmaster goes, nice car but have you ever worked on one of these ?? The Rear Wheels being up in the wheel wells like that made it interesting to even remove the rear wheels because you had to lift it up in a way to let the rear tires hang down just to remove them.
I like the Buick! For the right price, it could make great low-buck luxo-hotrod content and likely pay for itself. Make some kid a great first car! Locking fuel cap is probably why the gauge reads full...

That's funny what you said about Toyota. My dad's brand new Camry broke down few days after purchase as the steering completely failed and a semi nearly T-boned him. It was in the shop for 2 months as they had to wait for parts from Japan. I would think twice about buying a Toyota.
I replace vehicle windows for a living. Those codes for that Avalon are alot of the same ones that get tripped after you replace the windshield and don't recalibrate or if the recalibration fails.

On the Buick that year check the door frame and make sure it’s not rushed it out I had a beautiful Buick roadmaster and the frame car look like it was brand new but the frame was all rusted out
Hey Randy it's Randy a few things on the Subaru Impreza yes when you first start them they idle high it's normal I have a 2017 subaru legacy that does the same thing. They idle normally under a 1000rpm when warm. And they don't have an engine cover on the 2.5i
Randy, Subarus have very long idle-down processes. On my 2020 WRX it takes a couple of minutes or a bit longer to idle down. The newer ones idle high for catalytic convertor warm-up.
That Buick deserves to live on!
I have a 2001 Toyota Avalon XLS... still as tight as the day it was new. Panels align perfectly, 252k miles, runs great.
