This looks delicious! I use 1/2 water and 1/2 milk too. Makes hot cerals and grits so much better. Looking forward to using my new grain mill this weekend 😊❤🥰! Thank you for sharing!😊
I ground spelt berries, used 1/2 cup of spelt flower and 1 cup of water/milk, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla and a slice of butter. Whisking constantly and it took about 2 1/2 minutes. Excellent as is, then I added real maple syrup...OH MY!!! Thank you for sharing this video!! I've already shared this video with 3 other people this morning it is sooo good.
I love Spelt! It has such great flavor. Thanks for sharing, I appreciate it so much. I'm so happy you are enjoying the fresh milled flour benefits, it is SO delicious. Enjoy your cream of wheat!
I made this today for the first time. I'm new to this but so far, I have biscuits, sandwich bread and shortbread down. Now cream of wheat. I did add cinnamon and vanilla. Topped with brown sugar and milk. Delicious. Thanks for the recipe.
The world of fresh milled flour has a bit of a learning curve. It takes baby steps and so much trial and error sometimes to figure it out. Great job on mastering biscuits, sandwich bread and shortbread! Bread alone takes some time. I made a FMF peach cobbler yesterday, so delicious!! Glad you are enjoying cream of wheat, hard red wheat, einkorn and spelt have the best flavor when making cream of wheat, in my humble opinion.
I had cream of wheat as a kid and enjoyed it, but with fresh milled flour, it is SUPER delicious and very nutritious. If you are into fresh milled flour, try it, you won't be disappointed.
@@InTheKitchenWithDinah I will try it, I do grind my own grain for bread and desserts, whole grains are a superpower for health and nutrition, I stay full so much longer

you are so welcome
I grind the wheat with a coffee grinder and cook for 20 minutes
I made brownies earlier and I have some fresh ground flour in the freezer. So great a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Thanks
I haven’t tried cream of wheat since I was a kid, I didn’t like the texture but I’m from the south and we ate grits and oatmeal
