I don't know if it's historically correct but however I quite enjoyed their love story 💯 as portrayed in the show and they were both gorgeous beings .

I dont know about this one, most likely not.
However Suleimans love towards Hurrem was even more intense in real life than in the series.

They say Humasha favored Hurrem and I can see they did a pretty good job on choosing this women

I believe he was driven mad from continually being isolated. If you look up what happened to those in solitary confinement it gives you an idea.

Instead of peeking through the door and watching him sleep if he keep meeting him in person maybe Mustafa wouldn't have gone mad

Sadly in this show people were visiting Mustafa, but that doesn't stop a boy separated from his mother isolated in a bedroom from going mad. He never went outside and saw the light of day. Chronic vitamin D deficiency alone is highly dangerous to anyone's mental health.

In reality handan was much more powerful than kosem that time ... Just that she died too soon , she even protected Mustafa from execution.

I believe he was driven mad from solitary confinement. You can look up the effects of solitary confinement on grown adults, never mind children.
