Only watched this series once. I kinda felt for Murad. Kosem literally stunted him. I get her concerns, but I can't help but think he wouldn't have been half bad if she'd have fallen back a little.
I bet they both dearly wished, they could go back in time and treat each other differently. It's such a tragic story. Kosem spent years and years loving and protecting her children with everything she had. And then everything fell apart and it was at least partly her fault. I can't imagine the pain she must have felt.

Don't go totally with this series read some history book, when he got the power everything was mess and he must be strict to make it all in order. Also History is witness that if murad lived more then he make ottomans in some more higher peak..

It is understandable that in your eyes Murad IV was the worst sultan. But you do need to realize the condition of the state and the steps Murad IV took in order to restore the order. It would be unwise for any individual to judge a person or their actions with just feelings.
