Thanks For Watching (and apologies for the filthy Fuji... I don't do much camera cleaning)
A couple of menu items I didn't mention but deserve some attention:
    1) I set my tracking mode to option 1 for general purpose 99% of the time, only occasionally using option 2.
    2) In the buttons menu, I make sure to turn off AF-S and AF-C on the shutter button. I only want the AF On button to activate autofocus (back button autofocusing).
    3) I set the dynamic range to 200% such that I get a bit of a dynamic range boost when I shoot higher ISO. It's a subtle difference but worth experimenting with.
let me know if you have any questions!

thanks for the video, the xt5 is so to speak a "fun" camera that can also be taken seriously. the best camera I've had in my backpack .

Thanks for sharing this!! Just got an X-T5 a few months ago and love to see how people like to configure it. Definitely going to try some of these out!

Nice video. One thing I found common between us is the face recognition button. I usually go to parks to shoot birds so my down button on the dpad is set to subject recognition usually bird, but then most of the time when I go - I go with my wife who shoots with x100vi, so whenever I wanna shoot her just press that upper button to go from bird to eye/face recognition. Cheers!

Great use case! It’s a system that works well for me, but there’s hardly a “right” way to do it. I feel if it works with your brain while shooting, it’s a good system haha

    Great video!
Just wondering what SD card you are using for the camera? And how you are setting the SD card? Do you save photos in one SD card and videos in the other SD card?

Hey, great question! I have it set so that one card records pictures and the other records videos, and if one fills it will start to do both on the other. It sometimes feels glitchy and I find photos on both, but I’m sure that’s something that I am doing wrong haha. If I were in something like a wedding, I’d be recording photos to both cards for redundancy. Cheers 🤙🏻

My goodness how pretentious camera videos have become lately on TH-cam. 😅

I make these videos because they give me joy and allow me to express myself. It’s a shame you see that as pretentious, but hey to each their own. Wild you decided to click, watch, and comment which is by definition pretentious compared to the random joe who’s just doing their thing making videos.
