I like widebodies for dubs. In singles the extra length of an elongated paddle makes a bigger difference to me when you have to cover so much court and you get out stretched on volleys a lot. I've added weight to nearly every widebody I've used. My preferred swingweight is between 113-117 so if a paddle is less than 113, which a lot of widebodies are, then I weight it up some.
Just got your collab Volair Mach 2 Forza and it's a beauty. Great job on the design and colors by the design team. The fact that it supports your charity just makes it that much sweeter!

I play with the M2 Forza. Looking for a bit more offensive capability in a new paddle - more power with controllable pop. What are your thoughts on the control of the Monarch CFC - dinks, resets and drops? Is the pop controllable? Thanks.
Yes, I think it is. It will take you a couple of drill sessions and a gameplay sessions to dial it in since you're coming from the Mach 2 Forza 16 but it's certainly not over the top power and pop.
Braydon mix up some of that Pickd. ALW 12.7 with a Hesacore is a nice setup. Poppier and harder hitting paddle than the Paddleteks IMO is Tellezs’ paddle the Lotto Ultimate Pro 14mm.
I can see the ALW 12.7 with a hesacore being a lot better. And that's the first I've really heard anything about Tellez's paddle. My interest is piqued now cuz if that's true then it would be up there in power where only a few others are and it would be nice to have another option there.
@@pickleballeffect My wife loves it, replaced her ALW 12.7 with it and even though she gets more power and pop from it she isn’t popping it up as much, more reach and her depth is better. It is noisy and I have played with it a bit and overheads are insane!

Keep an eye out for the neonic flare and flare prime. Its going to be a standard face paddle with a 5.75 inch handle with some interesting options. The normal flare is a good control to all court paddle with more pop than the mach 2 16mm. The flare prime is where it gets interesting being 14mm having the same fiberglass then carbon fiber layer up technology in the alw and tkoc paddles. It should play pretty similarly to an between of the 14.3mm and 12.7mm alw but with a long handle and an extra low swing weight of 104 with a twist weight of 6.9 out of the box. I think you would love them both when they release

Hopefully, UPA-A and USPA needs to figure the deflection testing out and make it transparent or both regulatory agencies will have the same controversies as before.
