Wouldn’t mind that spot at the bottom of my garden. What size circle hooks are the best to use? Only ever fished with trebles but I’m keen to try the circle hooks
Hi,if you take a look at heads first deadbait rigs on facebook i use there rigs,i will start to tie my own and he has instructions on the page how to tie the rig aswell
A question not a criticism, why have you put that red protector over the end of the hook eye? i thought the movement was supposed to work like a hinge, in effect you've removed that hinge. is there a reason for this?
I'd like to see more detail on that rig. I've just started using circle hooks and I think that your rig might give a better hook up rate. Where do you buy the 'hair from'? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
hi Michael I purchase my rigs from heads first rigs on Facebook, superb rigs from quality components,he also has tutorial on how to make them aswell facebook.com/HeadsFirstDeadbaitRigs/ let him know that you saw it on allseasonangler video cheers
to be honest you don't need to leave too long as what I find is as soon as the float starts moving the fish has bait in mouth and what you need to do is wind down slowly until you start to feel resistance and what you find is the pike will the start to swim away from you and tge hook will set.you can leave a bit longer as it's not double trebles but I prefer to go earlier than later just to be safer.i hope that helps
Nice video but can i make an suggestion as when you weighed the first pike you said 12lb 6ozs which is a nice fish by the way but that won't the true weight of the fish because you need to deduct the weight of the weighing sling and when it wet it will be a few ounces more.
Yep agree ,to be honest I forgot to put it in the video but usually zero them, the weight wasn't really anything to get excited about and the video was more about catching with circle hooks. Thanks for watching
If you like this video watch the following for more pike action th-cam.com/video/IjjKzC0-Y4I/w-d-xo.html
Switched to circle hooks as well , if possible , a close up video on how you make up your rig would be useful (well - for me anyway) . Subbed.
Would love to see how you do that hair rig in details. Ill try do the same today and try it tomorrow on the lake. Subscribed anyway :)
Circle hooks are best! Nice video!

Have you ever tried a live fish with this rig? Maybe through the gills? Thanks for the tutorial.
Good video, i swear by circle hooks. Will never go back to trebles now. Have subbed to your channel.👍
thanks for the Sub,this season was my first on circles and will not be using trebles again .Just need the pike to start biting lol
