What is in your longboard Quiver?

I got myself a loaded x pantheon trip. Its got 50 degree 165mm paris trucks and I'm rocking some ABEC 11 f1, 74a, 107mm wheels.
I've ridden an arbor pilsner cruiserboard and I can say compared to that it was a night and day difference in comfort and surprisingly it turns very easily.
For commuting its perfect. The big wheels hold speed very well and pushing is almost effortless. For the downhills its quite sketchy. The board is quite flexy and isn't stiff and it just doesn't feel good going downhill.
If I were to choose a board that could do it all, I would probably go for the pantheon nexus board or the trip carbon.
Nice video btw the tour of Nairobi was unexpected but enjoyed it very much.

I ordered the comet cruiser because of your review. Should be here in a few weeks after almost 9 months of waiting. Just in time for the snow the fly.

My minimalist quiver for the skating I do. Pantheon pranayama, loaded ballona, waterborne adapter, 32 inch pool deck.

Yeah I’m thinking of getting the ballona as a general about town deck, there’s a lot that fit the bill but ballona seems to of got the jazz

22" inch penny board with 72mm wheels (no risers needed) one board I couldn't live without for rain commutes and travel where board needs to fit in a backpack or locker or desk.
It also works as a trainer to get my stance back to crazy strong when tight and then all my other boards become 2x as stable.

Impressive quiver and favs. Just got the Rocket Phoenix and will be testing this weekend. Currently 9 boards with 7 for strict down hill and 2 for general slower practice-I guess. 😆 All still learning capabilities and always changing trucks, bushings, etc. All fun.

I have a Pranayama and Trip, and tbh, the 88Wheel McFlies (vs Speed Vents) are the bigger factor on which board feels better than the other. Also, I prefer the Trip graphic by a good margin. The Prana feels more responsive and surfy, while the Trip just kind of goes in the direction you point it. I have a Zenit mini marble DK for learning downhill, but no great access to downhill that isn’t super full of people or cars.
Once I really got into working on street skating, I basically stopped using my longboards much… I’m just so wrapped up in trying to figure out how to do a kickflip, get better ollies, and work on grinds. It works really well for my area. I also do still love longboarding, but it’s just harder to fit into an average day.
I LOVE my Main Street setup: Powell Andy Anderson Heron 2 deck, on Ace AF1 Hollows, with either Powell Dragons (54mm) or Spitfire F4 99a (also 54mm). Very very fun for pop shuvs and Ollie’s especially, as it is a twin tail with geometry I find really helpful, and a flight deck. Then again, I also ride a Real 8.5, and it makes other things feel better (I’m closer to kickflips on it, and 5050 curb grinds are somehow easier).

I just received my custom Zenit AB 2.0 board. I selected the soft flexy deck, which removes the core layer of poplar, then added the carbon fibre cross bracing and carbon fibre stringers along the bottom. The net result is a thinner and lighter board with a similar amount of flex as their standard flex. Paired this with 80mm 77a Kegals and Independent Hollow Tech trucks, this thing is light and nimble.

I've got 3 completes I use and about a dozen decks. My DH board (Pantheon Sage), LDP/Freeride (Demonseed 39), and an Arbor Shakedown 37 for cruising/park/tech freeride. The Demonseed gets the most love though, great fun on the hills and very comfy concave for LDP.

Mine are Pantheon seed for dh. Rayne supreme 36 for freeride.
      Rayne demon seed for ldp.

For me, it's a Bustin Sportster for a double drop, LY Cheese Grater for top mount, Loaded Ballona for the "mini-cruiser," and a Penny 32-inch cruiser with Waterborne adapter. I also have an inexpensive Apollo popsicle stick deck to experiment with eventually learning ollies, manuals, and maybe shuvs, but not too focused on tricks; My shins have taken enough of a beating over the years from the pins on the flat pedals on my mountain bike.
When the Apollo popsicle stick deck is thoroughly trashed, it might get replaced with a Bustin Yoface, but for now, no plans for anything else, aside more bushings to experiment with and some bearings.
The Comet Cruiser definitely looks like a dream, but it's pricey and seems like it would overlap with the Ballona and the Cheese Grater, anyway. And, I'm not so sure my big feet would like the width vs the Loaded Ballona.
I started with different cheaper boards to learn and figure out what I liked. 6 months later, and I'd say I have it pretty dialed in for my liking.

Pantheon Trip colab 50*/40* split angle Bear gen 6 155mm with McFlys or Speed vents. I like it better than my old Prana for the reasons you gave. Black Label Black Widow Pig setup as a surf skate with Carver CX trucks. Mutant Farms Rogue as my alternate
surf skate deck with the CXs. LY Switchblade 38 with 44 raked Cal IIIs. That thing will slide even at pushing speeds on flat ground. I’m in line for a Pantheon Supersonic.

I have had setup of different boards: penny 27, surfskates like Mindless, Carver, Curfboard and other similar stuff around... 10 pieces. Now I own only gbomb X26. Completely satisfied with it for a next half year.) I do only LDP now. Maybe thinking about Pantheon in the future as second one.

I have a an Apex 37 by OS for freeride/freestyle, a Drop Beast 41 by OS for LDP and a lil DH, Marble 46 by Travelol for freestyle/dance, a dinghy by LY for a mini cruiser and a street deck set up like a LY ATV, for street/park.

At the moment, I’m back and forth between the Landyachtz Big Dipper (my favorite at the moment) and Drop Hammer. My dancer board and mini cruiser are mostly set aside for whenever I get a bit braver about learning more.

Hey man really appreciate your feedback. I have a drop cat 38’ on 85mm blue and orang cags (mix match). Do you think the pantheon board is worth upgrading in your Opinion? I see them in stock but was unsure if it’s worth it. Thanks a lot!
