    Why don't you use a USB-C hub so you can connect several devices and use external storage??? And passthrough power

    • @husondiy

      Yes you could. But this device offers all of that in one piece of hardware 👍🏻

    So theoretically the more expensive J5create Capture Cards like the JVA14 should also work as well if not better than this card ??? I have the Quest 2, but will get a Quest 3 at some point and want the best results possible...

    Another great video. Thanks for sharing. I have one question left. The output with 1080p and 30 FPS is more than enough for most application scenarios. But they advertise on Amazon with up to 4k. Can you achieve that somehow with the capture card and the Quest? Or at least the 50 to 60 FPS with 1080p? I'm just wondering because of their marketing. But the charging capability is realy nice and a reason for test it out.

      I tested four capture cards, all with 1080p/60 Hz. None of the cards works with Meta Quest 3 HDMI Link. Only this cards works without any problem.

      Yeh it's all a bit up in the air at the moment too with the app being so new and still in development. Hopefully when it's developed a bit more it can support hardware capabilites a bit more. What you guys reckon?

    Thank you for video! I need a capture card for using on Nintendo Switch and on Meta Quest 3, in several ways and without losing video/audio quality and latency peaks. I want to stream to Twitch from these devices and I would like also check a possibility to send audio/video from Switch to MQ3, sounds like a nice idea, at least to give a shot.
    So the question is if this model is capable to please my needs 😁 Or maybe another J5 model? Or Ugreen or something?

    I've been doing this too long. It's like watching newbs make how-to videos. Smh. We started doing this several years ago on the Quest 2. This isn't new and it's not difficult and there are much better tools than what Meta offers. Use the USB Camera Pro or nExtCam applications.

    • @husondiy
      @husondiy  23 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      Hi!! I'm not a newb. I've done videos on the USB Camera application previously on the channel. Some people don't want to side load applications onto their headsets so I think the more options the better.
      So to counter your point, it is new as its an app on the headsets that doesn't require sideloading
