I was really excited about the new Honda Talon UNTIL NO DIFF LOCK. Another fancy 4wd system controlled by a computer and gives the DRIVER no control over it. Glad to see Can Am add a manual engaged diff lock so the guy who pays the money can decide when he wants diff lock on. I will never buy a machine that doesnt have driver controlled manual diff lock as a option. I bought a Polaris Sportsman and I hate the AWD system and having to spin rear wheels before front digs in. I had big hopes for Honda but their " smart 3 wheel drive" can go to hell. I waited waited and waited and I will wait no more for Honda. If they could have stuck a diff lock button on there I would be buying one this year. I give up....i'll be buying a CAN AM for the very first time so I can actually control the 4wd system!!!
My wife picked up an x3 xmr this year. The thing is a monster in the mud. If you're looking at the sport xmr I would lean towards the x3 turbo. I believe they both come in around the same price and are both 64". You get 20 more ponies from the x3. Have fun with whatever you purchase. There all great machines

I'd compare that to the x3 xmr
I believe it would be more comparable to the Polaris high lifter. They are both in the 64" wide class as well as the 100 - 110 horse power class.

Why does Dirt trax love the fly by wire throttle on the Can Am but hate it on the Ski Doo 900 Ace? It’s the same setup
So for the occasion mud hole along the way is it worth the extra money for the xmr or just a sport r with upgraded tires?
How tall are you? I’m 6’5 and afraid I will be cramped in one.

@Game Bred Duramax yes but the maverick sport is supose to be 60" wide like the rzr s but is longer like the rzr xp! The longer length is a big disadvantage in the bush trails
