I’m surprised you didn’t mention the seat foam takes forever to dry out when submerged and the seat cover seeps water when sitting leaving a wet ass. I’m looking forward to your rad remount or upgrade. Great vid!
You can buy upgrades for everything you complained about but the seats to my knowledge, yes it’s more money and yes we all want more for less! but dose it do what it’s intended to yes and that’s all any manufacturers look at besides cost.. As an owner I wish they came with more to like a basic stereo or extra switches already wired but that what the aftermarket is for. Only thing I can 100% agree with you on is the headlight they suck ass and all ATV/UTV should have LEDs headlights stock.
Call it complaining if you want. I just wanted to identify my dislikes. There weren't many in total. Aftermarket is great and it thrives because these companies take a huge profit line and deliver lotsa junk. It's not about me wanting more for less. Moving a radiator or winch up or cup holder isn't asking for more. That's just stupid designs. The only thing you agreed on is the headlights which would be a case of more for less. Does it do what it's intended to do hello? It's a xmr mud machine. Take em Mudding. Mines sitting in a drivingway not usable right now because of my Disliked design flaws. Part of the sales pitch is big Skid plate.... First ride. Mines half toast. It did not skid. It cracked like eggshells. So when I paid that money, am I wrong to want what's bragged about in specs to actually work? And what manufactures intend it to do vs what they sell it to do are very different. Still love the machine as all my vids say. Just pointed out a few flaws I found.
@@MartoriousMartuzzi I agree with you 1000%. Redripper69's comment is simply ridiculous. First off, these are "YOUR" likes & dislikes, not his. WTF is so wrong with expecting a decent skid plate on a "mud machine" that costs a SHIT-TON of money? I agree with all of your dislikes, not only because what you said is true but also because your suggestion only "make sense"!!! That winch "absolutely should" be mounted as high as possible, the rad getting caked with paddies really, seat rails, all common sense. Should we need to spend even more for it, FUCK NO MAN!!!!
I know its sort of a pain but its like 5 or 6 bolts to remove that whole front section off, and clean the open rad. Really takes like 5 min. Just a tip man appreciate the vids.
I'm about to be doing that lol. It is minor except when we hit mud we hit it pretty hard and it's hard to get at in the trails if needed. But I hear ya. Not biggest issue but looks like they picked up on it on the Commander now.
Like.... sight lines while driving are great and seating position is perfect. Dislike.... Lack of power, they had the same v-twin engine in the OG mav with a 313hp turbo, these new xmr ,xxc & xrc models should have factory availible turbo or at least an option. Overall though its great machine !
They do for sure. But honest for having 34s stock I find it still has the grunt needed. I don't hop in the xmr looking for top speeds. Every ride it's been on is fine. But a few more is always nice. That's why I didn't hit on that for 5 top dislikes. I do believe these guys should break 100hp on specs from start though. 120ish been perfect.
When you shatter them they start to catch on stuff. Eventually exposing the chassis. Most I know have gone to full 3/8 or 1/2 inch skids now. It's really one of most important under mentioned first things that should be done to these machines before most other upgrades.

Ya. The foam seats. About those lol they still soaked from last ride!
Awesome telling it like is
It’s great hearing the pros an cons

Great honest, real world user review!
Thanks. I love the real. Many get sponsored now and who we watch are getting watered down here and there.

I tried to buy a factory rad relocate when I bought my 21 xmr. I was surprised to learn it was not available, cause of the snorkels.
When my fab shop designs and installs mine you'll see it here.
I can't wait. I'm toying with doing my own relocate, but I bought a 3 yr warranty. So I'm not really sure if I should.
Your in the middle there lol. Tough call. My warranty is done so I need the improvements done now.

Ya. I left the lack of power out of the dislikes cause the wife still only uses 20 percent lol
@@MartoriousMartuzzi Maybe those big tires eat up more HP. I have the XRC Model, and it has plenty of power.

pros and cons with all of them... Seems like someone would check this type stuff out, and build a near perfect machine.. Lol.. 👍👍👍
For sure. Or just get designers that actually ride them.
Agree about the battery. Anyone have a recommendation?
🏆🏆🏆👍🙏
Thank you for sharing.
Doesn't it float better with the smaller drain holes? LOL...
I think the wife would know this answer best lol
I've noticed my skid looks like yours. Have you had any issues caused by the skid being junk and if so what?

Good list! No sxs would have 12 inch rims!
