It was truly the best world cup so far. The world cup song, Shakira singing it Spain champions and the drama of the tournament. Every broadcast was saying the Dutch are choosing the physical approach to finals and it got ugly. It almost worked because Spain started fouling back. 2 Dutch at least should of gotten red cards. The horse collar take down of villa, the kick to chest. Ref tried to keep it 11 on 11. To keep a final from being decided in 1st half.

As a Spaniard Ive noticed that everybody talks about Spain, but I would like to mention the Netherlands as they played such a great WC, they didnt win because there was a little genius named Andrés Iniesta, he managed to be in the right place in the right moment, and he won the tournament when all the players were exhausted. I was very young when this world cup took place but when I watched it I saw how well Spain was able and the chemistry between all of them was incredible!
I have never seen any national team like spain 2010 what a team so young so intelligent legend players. In my country every people were supporting Germany back then they scored 4 goals to each opponent they played against but i was the one supporting spain and when they beat Germany in semifinal i was very proud and i knew they surely ganna lift the trophy and they did it.
By far the best World Cup in history. I loved the game and the atmosphere was incredible! So happy that South Africa hosted it and the games leading up to the final was amazing. Yes the 2014 World Cup was good but not as good as this one.

Will always remember this match. I’m English but wanted Spain to win from start. Remember the news on about an English referee being in charge there were rumours him being favourite to get the final but some reports said he couldn’t referee a match involving Uruguay cos a referee from Uruguay had disallowed an England goal when it should have been allowed. Not sure if that would effect an English referee taking charge of Uruguay tho.this match was definitely one of most tense matches I’ve seen. Watching that meeting where referee is told to expect the unexpected has to be best advice they could have been given. The last minutes of extra time were so tense and it was actually 10 vs 10 in last minute as Holland we’re down to 10 after one was sent of and Spain used Torres for last sub in last bit of extra time and he was down injured in last minute.

I have never seen any national team like spain 2010 what a team so young so intelligent legend players.
In my country every people were supporting Germany back then they scored 4 goals to each opponent they played against but i was the one supporting spain and when they beat Germany in semifinal i was very proud and i knew they surely ganna lift the trophy and they did it.
By far the best World Cup in history. I loved the game and the atmosphere was incredible! So happy that South Africa hosted it and the games leading up to the final was amazing. Yes the 2014 World Cup was good but not as good as this one.

Will always remember this match. I’m English but wanted Spain to win from start. Remember the news on about an English referee being in charge there were rumours him being favourite to get the final but some reports said he couldn’t referee a match involving Uruguay cos a referee from Uruguay had disallowed an England goal when it should have been allowed. Not sure if that would effect an English referee taking charge of Uruguay tho.this match was definitely one of most tense matches I’ve seen. Watching that meeting where referee is told to expect the unexpected has to be best advice they could have been given. The last minutes of extra time were so tense and it was actually 10 vs 10 in last minute as Holland we’re down to 10 after one was sent of and Spain used Torres for last sub in last bit of extra time and he was down injured in last minute.
Well, the English refree was the Netherland's 12th player during most of the game.
