    Right good little series. I'm using Inkscape 1.4, so things have changed a bit, but mostly it's the interface. There's quite a steep learning curve for this app, but if you keep at it for a couple of hours each day, it does eventually stick. Thank you!

      Thanks for your comment. There are 2 videos on my channel which you may find helpful
      Layers Inkscape

      Inkscape Object Dialog
      th-cam.com/video/8ytOgfI7Vto/w-d-xo.html
      Both of these were filmed before they combined the layers and objects dialog box, so both will be helpful. In Inkscape 1.2 they were combined but a few useful feature were removed, in 1.3 some things have been reintroduced. Hope you find them helpful.

    Thank you, I needed this. I have been struggling with the Bezier Tool. I get how useful it is, but it really does need lots of practice. However, with the right info otherwise ended up very frustrated. I still need to practise but am seeing what need to do now. So this tutorial is much appreciated

    And maybe U will add there something about how to configure keyboard shortcuts for to speed up work with these tools, including Beziers?

    • @CreateForFree
      @CreateForFree  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had planned to make video covering working with nodes, so the nodes tool and other little features and function that can be really helpful. It will be coming 👍
      I do like the idea of a video on keyboard shortcuts and how to set them. I'll try to tackle both in the near future.

      Make sure you click and keep the button held down, then press shift as well, keep both held down and you should be able to now move the Bezier handle - when it is in the right position, then release the mouse button.

    Is Shortcut shift + L can change to custom shortcut? Maybe just push alt or click last node bro?

    • @CreateForFree
      @CreateForFree  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can change/set custom keyboard shortcuts. Shift + L is a handy one, but like you say, it would be nice to use a single key. Just need to make sure you don't override another useful shortcut.

    • @pandora4592
      @pandora4592 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CreateForFree can you tell me, for the stages of customizing the shortcut, I'm confused because I can't find it in preferences. thank you bro

    • @CreateForFree
      @CreateForFree  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      To add or change Shortcuts go to:
      Edit - Preferences
      Click on the Triangle in front of 'Interface' to display the options.
      Click on 'Keyboard at the bottom to open up the Keyboard shortcuts and modifiers panel.
      You can then click on the triangle in front of the name of the section you want.
      When you have found the function that you want to add or alter the shortcut for, click on it to select it, then click in the Shortcut column - once it displays 'New accelerator...' you can press the key combination you want to use (it will warn you if you are going to over ride an existing shortcut)
      Unfortunately you can't change all of the shortcuts and it looks like Ctrl + L is one that you can't change.

    My width changes ba c k to default why

    • @CreateForFree
      @CreateForFree  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You may need to adjust the settings. Select the Bezier tool, at the top right of your screen, just under the snapping buttons you will see a small section that has Fill and Stroke width for the tool - click on it and the pen preferences box will pop up. Under Style of new object, you want to select - Last used Style, you can then close the box. Now when you use the tool it should use the last syle and not the default.
