    Thanks for the video. I graduated from a german university (engineering background) and want to work in Austria. Which is better for me, EU blue card or Red White Red Card? In Germany if we have Blue card, we can apply for permanent residence after 21 months if we can provide relevent language skills. Is it also the same in Austria? I read somewhere that in Austria you get the permanent residence only after 5 years. Can you give me more information on this?
    Thank you in advance

    Sir my wife has got PhD scholarship in Austria covering tuition fee and 1000 euro living expense stipend.
    My question is can Me and my 1 year child come along my wife for 3-4 years of PhD duration?
    Kindly guide me

    • @lawandbeyond_at
      @lawandbeyond_at  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will likely need to show more money than 1k EUR stipend, for a family of 3 more like approx EUR 1,800 plus whatever you need to pay in rent: But one would have to look at all the facts of a case.

    What should be amount of health insurance for student aged less than 24?

    • @lawandbeyond_at
      @lawandbeyond_at  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      What do you mean by amount? If you were to come to Austria on a student visa, the insurance company must certify that all hospitalization and doctor's visits costs will be covered. As a student, you could get registered with the national health insurance system in Austria. This will then be accepted by the authorities. But if you are from a country that requires a visa to enter Austria, such visa to travel to Austria will only be issued if you can prove health insurance coverage. So getting insurance coverage, for instance via a travel health insurance provider, may be necessary.

    If i go there and marry someone how many complications or what may i need to do then to stay there?

    • @lawandbeyond_at
      @lawandbeyond_at  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In general, being married to an Austrian citizen may open up the avenue for you to live there as well. But there are certain additional requirements that you as a couple would have to meet. Especially proving you have enough financial resources becomes very difficult for some couples.
