Found a perfect review. I want to compare Misha M, Laneige, and Sulwhasoo. I am searching for cushion foundation /compact that will be much more natural, gives out natural glow, and dewy finish after long wear although i know Mary Wise Timewise is the most effective but i am not able to afford that kind of foundation. Tried it once though when i got the chance. Hahaha. That Sulwhasoo gives off the Korean Vibe where their face is kind off there is water mask layer on top. The Laneige is natural as if like u don't wear make up at all and it is super good for normal outing. The Sulwhasoo i can see myself buying probably for bigger ocassion or for my mum.

that's a very common misconception. in media, most korean celebrities are incredibly whitewashed, get whitening treatments all the time and in general do not represent what the average's korean skin looks like. if you look at the streets in seoul, the majority of people are darker than what most brands provide, they are tan, brownish. these makeup brands don't make shades to cater to their clients, but to enforce the beauty standard behind it. it's also nothing new that korean celebrities sometimes use foundation way too light for them, so that they appear lighter. and the foundations still sell, because by buying a lighter shade, people think they'll look more pale. it's a vicious circle.
Tbh they all mostly fall under light brown skin but they have very less colour on their skin. That makes them light brown but also pale. Hence they can wear 2 to 3 shades lighter foundation and that's what they all do.
Joy-el I actually went to Sephora yesterday and got the Laneige one in the same shade I believe but before I use it I wanted to watch some videos on it so if this one doesn’t work out (fingers crossed that it does) I’m going to try the other ones. So excited!
I love Laneige! I use the BB Cushion [Whitening] NO. 21 Beige. I also use the pore control one too. I have many different tones in my complection so this brand and shade has helped even out my tones. I also find them very comfortable to wear in the summer. I like that it comes with a refill.

You should give the amorepacific another try. Go for 204 this time because I have the same skin tone color as you and the 204 blends in my skin perfectly. I love it so much.

Amen, little sister. It's true for the DARKER skin tones too as far as the GAP you mentioned. I liked the LAST three as well and agree that the 2nd from the last is closest to your skin tone, but the other two WILL DO if you run out (notwithstanding that you find something MUCH closer to what you need). I'm going through your old videos too so don't flip out if I respond as though I've not seen any of the others, I try to take each video for what it is and as though I watched it when it was first posted. Hello! If your skin tone is only a little bit lighter than mine, I think the Missha Perfect Cushion in Shade 27 may still be too light. After using it a few more times, I noticed that I was beginning to look pale, even people I was with noticed how much lighter my face was. I think the Laneige Pore Control in Shade 33 would suit you better :)

Which ones are paler with pink undertones?? .I received an advertisement in Email today for the Sulwhasuu Cushion, their brightening one, which is extra glowy, and all the shades were deep golden or very warm with yellow undertones, and there was nothing for pale people.
The one that you said was too light for you--- I bet it would have oxidized within 90 minutes and been a perfect match 4 U, , but I understand you can't just sit around for an hour and a half waiting for it to change color before you leave the house☺

Hello! I myself do love Korean skin care and B.B. Cushions however I think you are using shades way to dark for your skin colour that’s why it’s orange. I’m a touch darker than you, being mixed with Jamaican and Canadian, and I use these dark shades and they are perfect for me! The colour melts into my skin and blends well. In the amorepacific cushion in the winter I’m not even 208 I’m 204, in the summer I become 208. I truly don’t believe you have the correct colours and you should try 1 shade lighter for each cushion that was really orange!

If I'm not mistaken Brown Beige is the old name, they've changed it to just 31 Brown now. It's available in Whitening, Pore Control and Anti-aging. And if it helps, I live in Singapore
I JUST came back from Busan (S.Korea) and searched high and low to no avail, it seems they do not sell any darker colour than 21 (23 at the airport) in their Korean stores at least. Actually the store clerks kind of gave me this weird look when I tried to ask for a darker shade and kept insisting that it doesn't exist. I had the same experience with Missha but at least the clerk in one store conceded that they do not carry it in Korea (not just a blanket "it does not exist" like all the others). I was so. bummed. out. I've had more luck finding darker shades in Tokyo (where I'm living right now), NOT any of the Korean cushion foundations but both Kate and Koh Gen Doh have a pretty good color range for those on the more tan range (though I'd not say any carry any true dark colours).
Another girl I was talking to said the same thing! So I went back and applied it even lighter all over, blended it down my neck and chest, set with a translucent powder, and it still looked orange :( I understand when you say it looks good on camera because I completely agree! But when I looked in the mirror and then walked into the sunlight, I literally looked like an oompa loompa.
So I looked up this cushion and there are only two shades available: Light and Natural. Both are very clearly too light for me lol. Since their shade range is so limited and I already know it will not match, there is not much to review on this one unfortunately :(
Hey i actually have the same skin tone as her, maybe a little lighter. And I tried maybelline super cushion (natural shade) and it was waaaaaay too light for me. I wouldn't recommend that for you if you have tan skin :)
