As someone who has worn circle lenses for over a decade, I recommend you stop because of the damage it will do to your cornea over time. We are not meant to wear lenses that go beyond the iris.
i bought the too cool for school fixing nude cushion just for this video and honestly it was the best purchase ever. THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video, it was my first time buying a cushion (the only foundation i use is too faced born this way) and i did a lot of research before buying it so ill be forever grateful for this amazing discovery ❣️ also you are super relaxing to listen! i love all your makeup videos ❣️

i love dewy foundations in the winter and what helps me is lightly setting them with powder and using a glowy setting spray ontop. this makes it last a while while also being significantly more transfer proof. also, the hydrating unicorn glow primer actually paired well with the jsm cushion for me. i think it created a nice hydrating barrier so i didnt get the dry tightness ur describing because i have reallyyy dry skin. but also if u have to buy a whole new primer for an expensive cushion to work…oof 😭 i feel like most ppl use liquid nowadays anyway
i agree, dewy foundations are great in the winter!! i also tried setting spray on top but nothing worked for me 😭 it just wasn't meant to be!! liquid lasts longer but i like the convenience of cushions 😅

for the banila co. cushion, it's the puff!! if you want, you can try to use it with another puff from another cushion. I also saw another korean makeup artist suggested the same with replacing the puff or using spatula and sponge method :)

I had a similar experience with the unleashia cushion. I got the shade 21 and looked ghostly! Even though my usual go to shade is 21… I’m glad that I wasn’t the only one who experienced that😅

Have you tried the TROIAREUKE A+ compact cushion foundation? No matter how many cushions I try, I keep going back to this one. It's like my holy grail and not many people talk about it! I have acne-prone combo skin and the foundation is hypoallergenic with ingredients like centella asiatica extract, tea tree extract, and calendula extract. Superrr lightweight and settles right away!

I got an amuse cushion because I heard they’re gentle and hydrating. I just want to be able to wear decent base makeup while I work on fixing my skin barrier :,)
amuse dew power is a great cushion thats hydrating with amazing glow! just wished it was a bit more long lasting! i also reviewed that in my previous videos ☺
have you thought about wearing vaseline after your night-time routine and sleeping in it? its super hypoallergenic, healing, and hydrating without clogging the pores :)

It’s funny. I find that liquid foundation feels more comfortable than cushions themselves. I live that you described some of these in a way where you want to crawl out of your skin. I have sensory issues and a lot of cushions exasperates this

I loved this honesty! Unfortunately cushion foundations are never dark enough for me despite the fact I’m considered light in the US lol but I love watching cushion reviews regardless. I never knew TCFS had a cushion, I wish I could try it someday!

i feel like too cool for school would be okay. tirtir is a bit on the heavier side, therefore i wouldn't really recommend it for problematic skin
Same... I got the Espoir velvet on your recommendation and want to try the too cool for school one. I mixed a glowy and a mate setting powder for the Espoir and it lasted so long... X
I love Espoir!!! But If you get the too cool for school one, setting it with a bit of powder will go a long way!

Jung Sae Mool I love it. I bought so many but go back to Jung Sae mool, very natural finish that feels nice. I have balance skin that is clear skin with bit of redness. I think if you have bad skin it won't be high coverage enough for you. Also might not be good for oily skin.

I am actually the same and really wanted love Jungsaemmool cushion but actually didn’t like it just like you. I was really looking forward for it but really dislike it. The same with higher and blush pallet. I been loving Age 20 cushion, it gives such a beautiful look and also last well. ❤

have you tried the EM Cosmetics Cushion Foundation? I really like it but im oily so i do have to retouch it every now and then
i actually haven't tried em cosmetics! i tend to focus on kbeauty cushions! but i did hear great things about it!

100% agree about jung saem mool. I don't have oily skin, but 30 mins to an hour after application and my face was melting. It felt slimy and my skin felt like it was suffocating. I couldn't wait to scrape this off. The next time I set it with powder which was better, but defeated the purpose of quick application and dewy/skin like texture. It is still a no from me.

thank you😊 hmmm im not sure how it will work on dry skin, since it doesn't have too much hydration/moisturie to it. although, it doesn't seem to cling on to dry patches. As long as you prep your skin well it should be okay!

The brightness of the unleashia is so real omg. I was using the rom&nd bare water #25 with a bit of a darker concealer bc it was too bright and got the unleashia #27 thinking it’d be a bit of a better shade match but it came on like a rom&nd #23 😭

happy you found it helpful! i haven't experienced any oxidation for both cushions, however I have heard many other people experienced oxidation for the tirtir cushion😢 i think it really just depends on your skin. I would also rec going one shade up for tirtir as it does run on the darker side
Ahh tysm for responding! Yeah, with the tirtir recently blowing up globally, there has been a few ppl coming out saying that it oxidizes:( which sucks cos that's the reason I was looking for a new cushion. But luckily they came out w a trial kit so I can try it before fully committing to it. And ty for the heads-up-- I was planning on going lighter just in case it oxidized loll

That first cushion foundation is way too glowy I can see it has mica particles in it which are highlighting every flaw and pore !! Nope wouldn’t work on my oily skin. Thanks for this review it’s super helpful for us westerners getting into this world 💕 you’re gorgeous!

hi!! do you prefer the espoir be velvet cushion or the red tirtir cushion? I can’t decide which one is better for textured skin🥲 (i have acne scars, pimples, and large pores)
I like Espoir cushions velvety finish better but TirTir is the winner for me since it’s long lasting, has amazing coverage and doesn’t budge! I would recommend TirTir if you have textured skin over Espoir. Espoir will probably emphasize textured skin since it does get a bit patchy

I was wondering if the too cool for school in shade 2c petal look pink? I heard its for cool tones and has some pink in it but I do not want a foundation that looks pinkish. I think im a cool tone with a bit of neutral tone too. Im thinking of buying in the shade 01 or 2c, please let me know. Ty :)
yes you are correct! 2c petal does have some pink in it! so you might want to avoid it if you need a neutral base!

I’m torn between the espoir or the too cool for school cushion. I wanted to buy jsm cushion for a long time then i saw your review so i’m kinda hesitating. I bought clio the semi matte one last december and it didn’t work for me honestly. I got oily after 2-3 hours just applying it even with powder. It pills off and it separates. I hate how it budge also. I tried it with primer or like setting sprays before but it made my face look even more cakey. Although it claims to be transferproof and mask proof(minimal transfer) which is true. I live in philippines which is very humid esp now in the summer and i’m a student.
Which cushion should i buy? I have a combi skin. The espoir or the too cool for school one? Please answer. Thank you!
I agree Clio does start departing after a few hours. It only looks good 3-4 hours for me.
Espoir is a bit drying but the finish is so beautiful and velvety (but thick) it can get a bit cakey if you have dry/combo skins and tcfs last the longest without budging/minimal transfer. It lasted pretty well in the summer in Korea
@@meebebe_ I bought it! You’re a lifesaver. I’m glad i took your advice. It’s so lightweight!! It doesn’t look cakey. It doesn’t separate either. After 6 hours, it still looks the same. Although as you’ve said it has a satin finish but it’s alright for me, if i want it to be matte, i would just put some powder on. I didn’t retouch at all day. It doesn’t cling to my pores, and fine lines unlike the clio. Thank youuuuu! 🥹

Hii I do love the finish of Espoir a lot better, but it doesn’t last as long as too cool for school. And it also gets a bit cakey and transfers. But that’s just my experience
TirTir would be superior with a matte setting powder I think

Are cushion foundations in the same price range of bottle foundations? Are they better than bottle foundations? Are they full coverage?
Bottle foundations cost slightly more and tend to have longer lasting power! I would say the coverage is about the same!
My skin tone is light medium but idk which foundation to get since I’m new to makeup, I don’t have acne but I wanna cover my dark circles :(
you should try the saems color corrector! it works very well for dark circles!!

It make up had a cushion foundation. It was light good coverage I applied with a brush. They quit making. 😢
if a product stays but feels tight it means it forms a film on top of the skin, it might be better if you prep with some sort of oil?
Like I said in the video, I tried almost everything to try and make this work! Including an oil. It just wasn’t meant for me

i wouldn't recommend for dry skin only because it can cling on to dry spots

clio is nice but doesnt last very long :( and I do not like Rom&nd cushions. It looked really bad on my skin😢 working on a new video which included a Rom&nd cushion
