Thank you so much for the tip of squeezing the damp sponge in a towel! I didn’t do that! This is why I love your channel-I always learn new things❤

I'm more of a brush application gal. There are times that I will use a sponge to finish, just to make sure I haven't used too much. However, as your foundation is always flawless, I'm leaning towards giving a sponge a few more tries.
This was fantastic Stephanie 😊. I love watching "tips and tricks" for any makeup product.
I'm so happy that you mentioned skin care. Without good skin care, foundation will never look great.

I didn’t know about toweling off the sponge. That’s a great tip. I can hardly wait to try it.
Whenever I see anyone putting foundation, concealer, or other liquid, cream, or stick product directly on the face, I wonder how they keep from getting too much on there. I’ve put it on the back of my hand first or used a brush to pick it up from the container and then dabbed any excess off on the back of my hand for over 50 years, and it’s always worked for me. Actually, I was trained to do it when I was so young that I was almost horrified the first time I saw the direct application method. It certainly surprised me and still does. Those influencers and MUAs have some mad skills to do that and have it look good.

Great tips, Stephanie! I'm 46 and glad I'm doing most of those things already. I'm definitely guilty of using too much primer though. I know what you mean about those saying IT CC Cream and others are too thick. I always have a feeling they're using too much. IT, is my fave and I hardly use any upon application. I have the same skin type as you, including rosacea. The most redness on the same side too. Weird, but cool. 😆

Hi Stephanie, great tips, thanks for sharing! I live in an extremely hot & humid place. My make up looks good when i leave home, but very soon i start pouring sweat & when i wipe it off with a napkin, the napkin/kerchief looks like all the foundation transferred to it!! I use loreal foundation, tried sweat-proof & 24 hr powder foundation. Nothing seems to last more than an hour of sweating !! Any suggestions on how to prevent the meltdown will be great! Thanks.
