Great video.. helped me alot!!! According to the numbering you used - you just need to have pins 4 (PSU detection) & 5 tied together, and that will work when shorted by pin 2. You can use an Intel stock cooler with these boards without an adapter. Cut the wires and plug from the old cooler and put them in these corresponding holes on the stock cooler. Black to Black, Red to Yellow. Yellow to Green and blue to blue, the 1st colour is the proprietary connector wires and 2nd stock cooler, this can be transferred to all coolers if you can integrate it. For the "hdd fan", you can cut the wires and put them in the same holes as the cpu if you can't use the fan itself.

Have you ever seen the 6pin dell power switch adapter? I have an andapter and there’s a little white triangle pointing right to the missing pin. However I have a precision T1600 motherboard I think I fried it plugging it in wrong. The 3010 motherboard I used for case swap and it powers on when I turn the switch on my PSU or if you were to plug it up it would power on without you hitting the power button. I have no cables hooked to the power switch connector and I’m kind of novice. Please help lol.
so in an easier way, i just need the 5 pin female power connector from the case and cut it off and then plug it on the pins, is that it? I feel like mine is a little bit different, because instead of only 5 pins i have like 7 or 10 idk like in the normal motherboards, idk if im right or not but it seems like it, and it has extra things in it. I plugged my case's wires on it but all of it isn't enough to fill the pins, though I can open the pc when I'm clicking the button in my case and the f1 error is still there. please I need help, Thankyou.
hi! I have some questions for you. in regards to an Intel i5 10600k cpu. I've been shopping for one and in some of the ads say SRH6R very prominently on them and most don't. I've burned up Google and TH-cam looking for what that means with no luck. the ads that have it never specified what it means. I've never seen any if them with a slightly different number. I've looked at a bunch of part numbers. none if them have this in that. I haven't seen those numbers on any other cpu. as far as I can tell there's 3 i5 10600's. the plain i5 10600, the i5 10600k and the i5 10600kf. actually, I never found out what the "f" designation was about either. also, another weird number that keeps popping up with this cpu is the add will say LPG 1200 socket. then, right after that it says socket 5. what the heck? I've written to 2 people with the SHR6R prominently in their ad, but, none have responded. any thoughts? thank you.

How do I fix psu failed to fetch code and why is my hdd not picking up in bios are they related
never had those issues, not sure
my problem is different it boot it does everything except the crackling noise comes out off speakers or no volume at all it doesn't go up or down. when I press F5 I receive this error code
Hello, what should I do if I can’t enter the BIOS and my PC has this error only when the keyboard is turned on? If I do this, it will work on video? I don’t know what to do, it just doesn’t log into the PC itself when the keyboard is turned on, without the keyboard it starts, but I can’t get into the BIOS...
Hey.. I have hp pro 3500 i buy new case my motherboard j18 have 9 pin (+1 10 no pin) it works new case?
no sure, never messed with the hp pro 3500
So I just solved the same issue today. I used jumpers and 1 wire connecting them. Different Dell board same idea.
nice! I have gotten spoiled with the adaptors.
Thanks for the info!
Any time!
Good info and thanks for sharing. Def will give that a shot next time.
merci beaucoup, tu est mon sauveur!!

I have use them with no issue. it's important to make sure the adaptor is specific for the model you are using.
so in an easier way, i just need the 5 pin female power connector from the case and cut it off and then plug it on the pins, is that it? I feel like mine is a little bit different, because instead of only 5 pins i have like 7 or 10 idk like in the normal motherboards, idk if im right or not but it seems like it, and it has extra things in it. I plugged my case's wires on it but all of it isn't enough to fill the pins, though I can open the pc when I'm clicking the button in my case and the f1 error is still there. please I need help, Thankyou.
what I do is take the front i/o to include power button, tuck it in the case and splice the power button wire to the case power button.
@@DLMtechgarage Thanks, I'll try it. Btw have you find a solution for the front I/O cable failure?
@@Molinono pretty much the same. tucking the whole front i/o to include the usb in the case, or doing the pin out jumping in this video.
@@DLMtechgarage thanks, I'll try it.
I face the same error with my dell G3, can you help me with a fix for this?

I've written to 2 people with the SHR6R prominently in their ad, but, none have responded. any thoughts? thank you.
thats the product code for the k version. k = you can over clock it. non k= non overclocking and f= mean no discrete graphics cards.
@@DLMtechgarage hi! thank you. that word discrete broke the whole case open. I googled the word. read 20 articles about it and my little hamster brain is still spinning around. does the F mean no on board graphics?
@@mrkemblegilstrap yup. no on board graphics!
@@DLMtechgarage typical computer stuff. they go out of their way, to make stuff as hard to use as possible. they really proved that point with windows 10.
how big a deal is it to add a separate, dedicated graphics card to a i5 10600k ?
@@mrkemblegilstrap just plug it in to the pcie slot and it should install automatically. make sure you have enough power on the psu.
Brilliant, thanks 👍
Thanks!
Are those wires separate from the psu or come with psu?
those wires i cut off an old case. you will have to pick up a set of pins from old power switch hd led power led case pins. you can get them on amazon real cheap

Cool deal. Let me know how it goes and if you have any question. be glad to help.
It is probably easier just to buy a 1151 socket board on ebay than to do this but I like knowing the pin out sometimes Frankin-delling is just fun lol
i def agree it is but like you said, frankin dellin is fun lol...
I do not own the original case and there is no cables How do I cancel the problem
come up with you own wire like i did in this video, or you can search ebay for these adaptors that make it possibly to do without splicing. got a video on my channel about it.
Ok people the easiest thing to do is just remove the rgb case power switch I comes out supper easy and then I took the dell 7010 sff power switch and trimmed around the plastic square and put it rite where the other one was and your almost done because the dell switch isn’t long enough so I cut open a usb cable used the 5 wires it has to extend the dell switch so it would reach and it works perfect can’t even tell I changed it I don’t make videos because I’m new to this that was my first case swap for my kid. I want to do a video but still learning
def do the video, I have done it that way too, I know use the adaptors cause its easier and less headache.
Just short (4 and 5 ) as swicth A and 2 as switch B shorting 1 and 3 is not a good idea.. cause they hold dc voltages
good info thanks.

What if you don't have those pins
if you dont have the pins you can hack into the connector by splicing the two wires from the original harness. Then just tuck the original harness away. I have seen some people take the original power button and hot glue gone it to the new case. sorry for the late response and thanks for watching.
Bro why did you have to make it so hard😂

Just enable FastBoot in BIOS. That would make the BIOS to skip the initialization of non-essential hardware and proceed with booting the OS.
