    I'm running the Redrock 4x4 cold air intake on my 07 Jeep JK. First off, I love it. The jk 07-11 come with a sluggish motor. After installing this it sounds stronger and it's running a lot better. Easy to install. And it looks awesome. With that, I installed a duel exhaust and I installed the amp'd throttle booster. With those 3. You're jeep jk 07-11 runs very noticeably a lot better.

    I use the red rock cold air intake. It works fine, looks good and is affordable. Save your cash it’s the one that will work for you👍

    Without a test of the intake air temperature and restriction vs. stock and each other, isn't this just a 9 minute add for three vendors?

      Well….., when you don’t know you don’t know. Buy one and test it. It’s only money. A bad thing about this vid is the conductor talks the thing to death without any evidence. One needs to move on to a testing agency or agent. Simply describing these competitive filters isn’t a good idea.

    Sounds better yes✅, throttle response yes✅.
    Add HP no❌, unless you have a supercharger and performance coils and sparks 🙃.
    I prefer the AFe Intakes over those. Buy what is available and better deal you get. Again NO HP gains.

      I disagree with you a bit, however, I havnt seen anyone doing a dyno test feed the vehicle air, such as being in a wind tunnel to REALLY simulate real world results. Like driving down the road. Those vehicles are sitting still, usually inside a building, so no infeed, the engine has to work to pull all of the air in. Have you seen anything different?

  • @casandraclark6717
    @casandraclark6717 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Airaid is the best intake on the market today, bar none. People who say that a CAI makes no difference are clueless. DYNO results show that even the cheap CAI's add HP!!

    • @TheVikingSailor
      @TheVikingSailor 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      But if it's pulling hot air from the engine bay it's not really a CAI. Sure a bigger tube may pull in more air, but now your bottleneck is your throttle body. 2hp for $300 doesn't sound like a deal to me especially on a jeep that runs at lower RPMs. You also have more debris getting sucked in and a greater chance of hydro lock. On a sports car? Sure! A Jeep? money can be spent better in armor honestly.

    Hey few questions one will the check engine light or anything come up when any of these items is on and two I like going mudding I like to go a little bit some water when I'm out at Rush Creek or anywhere in PA

    • @extremeterrain
      @extremeterrain  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      None of the featured cold air intakes in this video will trigger any check engine lights if installed correctly! If you go mudding or take your Jeep through bigger puddles often, I highly recommend looking into a system that has a closed airbox instead of an open-element one. It will be less likely that you suck any water into your intake that way. Check out the following link for an example and have fun shopping! -Zach www.extremeterrain.com/injen-evo-cai-36l-evo5003.html

    Why doesn’t someone create a system that sends very cold air from your air conditioner, into the engine?
    Seems like a no brainer, so why isn’t it a common mod? I’ve heard of people doing DIY jobs on weekend racers. Why not a 4x4?
