I think of thie iem more as a tech demo. When they apply this tech to multi-drives, then we will have something truly incredible. I suspect the upcoming Aful Cantor will do that.
While multiple drivers can do certain things better, increasing complexity can also lead to signal degradation and the potential to cause issues, too. A single driver can sound more coherent in many implementations because it’s not randomly handing over parts of the frequency response. This IEM has a nice flat response without exaggerated bass response muddying up the midrange. The highs have some minor issues, but honestly, most IEMs have some of that.
The technology and acoustic tuning methods Aful implemented in this is actually quite innovative. Props to them for actually innovating in the tuning method department, especially since the only other company that I can think of that does some complex acoustic tuning is Sennheiser.
@@villageromaI know what a transmission line is, and I know that’s it’s extremely common practice in woofers. I’ve never seen it implemented in an IEM before though due to size constraints but Aful seemingly was able to pull it off using 3d printing. If you can point me to any other iems that use this tuning method that would be great 😁
Thanks Timmy just got it last night and I love it! Im Not educated so i love your passion and advice! Appreciate your time and energy and help! Thank you…👍

Exactly. Can't spend that much for 1ba. No matter how great it might be. Especially it will never be able to do bass like a dd. Even 64audio accept the simple physics
@datdudeinred What does having 1BA have to do with anything Buy things that sound good, this isn't rocket science. In no way shape or form does having more drivers equal better in most cases, especially when were talking $130 (yes, thats extremely reasonably priced, way too many hype beasts hyping up the next $40 iem like its as good as a $500 iem. People need to chill and just enjoy what they can afford without dissing more expensive products out of envy/bitterness)
It’s interesting but like, why? I feel like the main advantage of IEMs is being able to have multiple drivers without interference like you might have in headphones.
the description said its their originally developed BA, but by developed I am not sure whether its produced in house or they just use available parts and assemble it themself or something. Part of me highly doubt that its created from ground up though
I’m pretty sure the ba itself is not that special, just a regular old rear vented ba. It’s just that they were really creative with the acoustic tuning of the driver
Always great, enjoyable content, Timmy! I’ve also received Magic One recently and have been thoroughly enjoying it!
Esperando ansioso pela sua review!
Quero sua review pra ontem! 😂

Not innovative at all. It's called Transmission Line and ain't the ultimate technology at all 😂

what do you mean?
Why?
How do you compare this to the planars at this price range?
Does the current scale still hold up nowadays? I feel like the Aria has been outclassed and maybe the scale reference could be changed. Just a thought
this is what the warbler prelude wished it was
Could you clarify "this price"
The sound signature is very similar to p1 max, i wonder if its better
Is this an upgrade over dunu titan s?
So gents do I buy the Chopin over this and the nova as I’m itching for another set of good IEM’s.
Ea 1000 or Chopin are the only options you should consider
@@LateBandwagondamn, not even quintet? i dunno why, but those metal housings always electrify my ears.

this or EM6L?
Are there new BA's on the market or did they just learn to use them?

If it was cheaper I would buy it. But not at this price. Not worth it.
Good vid~ but when aria 2 review? >
What is there to review? Same shit as the Aria Snow essentially lol.

50-70 bucks ok, tryable but not at 140
Shure developed 1 BA iem way back 12 years ago.
Innovation? Etymotic basically did the same thing a decade ago.
does not have good bass and isnt exaclty the most balanced in the treble neither

But when the nova review?
It’ll be nice to see this BA added into a multi-driver IEM. These will always be the Ian Fann’s to me 🫣😅
Lol saw that drama. It within youtube fair usage policy. I guess some people are just snowflakes
