I sawed into a small tree that I didn't know had a hollow spot filled with hornets. I got stung twice on the arm and once on the head. I dropped my saw and ran, thankfully the majority of the hornets went after the saw as it was noisy, vibrating, and a heat source. I ran like the wind, it was not a fun experience.

      - The way they say "We got ur friend", the "Are you okay?" AFTER the wood chipper, "Bring it on FRAT-B**CH!"
      - Something I missed in my first few watches, and only caught on recently is when Tucker tells Dale that they can't tell the cops because "What are we supposed to say? 'Oh, howdy ho officer... we've had one DOOZY of a day!'...", but then he proceeds to say EXACTLY that. 😄 This is an underrated cult hit, and possibly one of the top five BEST horror comedies.

Did you know that on the DVD extras, the director did a different version of the entire movie using the same scenes only he edited just so to make it an actual horror movie. Alan Tudyk is an icon, by far one of my favourite actors, I got the wonderful privilege of seeing him at Comic Con at a panel and he is a sweetheart. He has a miniseries where he plays a washed up celebrity who used to be from a popular series. He listens to fans feedback and has cameos from actors who are friends of his. He also plays the chicken in Moana, always makes me giggle when I remember that.

I went to a signing Alan Tudyk did back in 2015. It was in a comic book store. I was wearing a serenity shirt. He saw it and said thank you immediately, and I said I’m a huge fan of Tucker and Dale.
Later I was pulling new comics and somebody behind a shelf said “I remember on firefly…” to another person, but I thought it was just a fan talking about it, and didn’t listen to the story, then after the story was over I realized it was Alan talking about an experience on set! And I missed it.

An introduction to one of those 'goofy misadventure' story - where the "accidental deaths" are morbidly funny! I was sort of 😆until Tucker says "what matters is *what looks what happened* and *what looks like what happened is pretty nasty!!"* 🤣🤣I was like yeah! You don't say!!🙃

Would like to point out that the beginning definitely seemed to indicate that Chad was still alive after all that, just like every other horror movie super-villain.

Did you guys know when this was released on DVD , the DVD had a special feature where they edited it , to where the movie plays out like a real horror flick would have been, had they not pulled back the curtain to reveal how Tucker and Dale are just caught in the wrong place at the wrong time! You should check that out if you can find it and review it too!

One of my favourite films together with Hot Fuzz. If you haven't watched that film, you definitely need to react to it. So cleverly written and fantastic acting from a plethora of great British actors. Not horror genre but on the vein of comedy police action.

The bee scene is the best. They think he's chasing them with a chainsaw but really he just cut through a tree into a bee hive and the bees were chasing him.

Giv'r or Giv'er is Canadian slang for like "go get it, give it all you got." Which is quite fitting for an optimist like Dale.

Tyler Labine is a treasure. First saw him in the cut-off-before-its-time show Reaper, and later he played Hunk in the Netflix Voltron remake. He's excellent in everything he does, supremely underrated actor.
Alan Tudyk is always a legend.
This movie had been on my radar ever since it came out, but for whatever reason, I never watched it. I finally did for the first time earlier this year, and I laughed my ass off. Big recommend for horror/comedy fans.

Dale is Tyler Labine. A super underrated actor. Hes been in many shows. He was in 2 episodes of The X Files as 2 sperate characters. He was in an episode of Its Always Sunny. He has a few of his own tv shows. He played in Reaper which was a really underrated tv show.

This movie should have a been a huge hit. Unfortunately, I only heard about it through word of mouth, so I'm guessing it had no marketing.
The phrase "Give'er" on Dale's hat is a Canadian version of "Get 'er done".

One of my favorites. I took the ending to be Dale choosing not to get involved in saving another girl because of the trauma that happened after he saved Allie. It's a bit of a reach.

I first saw this film during the 2020 quarantines and fell in love.
It has been seriously slept on and needs more attention: it is not only one of the funniest horror comedies I have seen, it is a heart felt buddy comedy and is probably the most original and unexpected Rom Com ever.
Dale is played by Tyler Labine and he is always worth watching

I *love* watching people react to this movie for the first time! It’s just _sooo_ good and so, so, *SO* freaking funny! Not to mention all of the heart throughout it! _And_ the acting from Tucker and Dale (And to a lesser extent, Allison and Chad.) is absolutely top F-in’ notch! I’ve never seen nor met nor even _heard of_ ANYONE who doesn’t enjoy it!!
The *only* thing that I don’t absolutely love about this movie is the very, very end where they let the creep sexually assault that poor woman in the bowling alley. I dunno, maybe I’m just a prude or something, but not only do I _not_ find it even the _least bit_ funny, I find it to be flat out gross, pretty fucked up, and _totally_ unnecessary. They basically throw out the compassionate, lovable personalities of their “romantic leads” within the last 15 seconds of the film. If you can’t tell by now, LOL, I absolutely *hate* it and I _really_ wish that it wasn’t there. Now, _obviously_ I’m not gonna let 15-25 seconds of total trash ruin this _incredible_ movie for me and _thankfully_ it’s legit the films _only_ misstep! Plus, since it’s at the _very_ end, I just turn it off the moment she goes in for the kiss and all is well in the world!
Oh, and as for the comment at the end about it this movie being made today with a bunch of influencers? I kinda *love* it and think it’s sorta _genius._ As long as the the four leads (Tucker, Dale, Allison, & Chad) are played by legitimate, talented actors and the influencers are delegated to playing the rest of the college kids. (And they work with them to the point where they all deliver at least serviceable performances!) I think people would *love* to watch them each get killed off one-by-one in the most asinine of ways! (Think Paris Hilton in _House Of Wax_ or Ariana Grande in the TV show _Scream Queens._ People would absolutely eat that shit up! lol.)
Sorry! Just the mere mention of that casting choice lit a passionate fire within me! lol.
Thanks again for another great reaction!!
