Good enough brother, you did your best Lindsey! Thanks for sharing and the best of luck my friend! Get some rest and don’t stress yourself brother! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
That's the bad part about trying to do dirt work in the winter. I usually try to take off and go duck hunting as much as I can in January. Either the ground is frozen, or it's so muddy you can't stand up. I tried to grade out a yard yesterday, but that was absolutely futile. My power rake just bounced across the ground.
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼…………………………………………………………… That storm barely missed me. A guy I work, with who lives 20 miles away, got about 3 inches. It rained, but no snow. That looked like a sloppy, muddy mess!
Your doing a great job. It's hard working with wet clay and even harder when the first 6 to 8 inches are frozen. You will get everything looking great around the pond in late spring or with your luck June when it usually stops raining. LOL I sure wish I still lived in DeSoto county I could be Jimmy #2.🤣 And I'd be right there with you in the cold wet and muddy clay. That's the one and only thing that I don't miss about excavation work! LOL You Be Safe Out There Buddy and try to stay warm and dry.
I know where the cold weather went. Should be-20 here in Wyoming and we hit 48 degrees today. Another good video. Have fun with the cold I’m not missing it.
@RickyCervo yeah I'm sure once I can actually finish grade everything. We'll put some at the start of pond and discharge of the pipe. Rook will have it looking good
Nice job brother. Wondering how much frost did you have? Also the pond looks really nice with the water in it. Way to stay with it with the conditions.
@@smithworx1091 not a typical concrete riser. They have plastic ones, they look kinda like a T fitting but the bottom is sealed. They hold a trash rack too which is nice.
@kennethney4260 ahhh ok. I've seen them. Yeah that would definitely work well on this levee. After it dries up, I think I'm gonna reset the pipes so we might add that.
I have some videos way back that explain it in detail. I think they're pretty close to when I first got the 313. But next time I'm using it, I will try to explain it again. Thanks buddy

Appreciate you bro!
Good job dealing with the frozen nuggets !! Rock on !! Better weather is coming soon !! 🎸🎸🎸🎤🎤🎤
Appreciate it bro! It'll be spring before we know it
I'm impressed the pond is as full as it is and surprised how frozen the ground is there. You got it done though.
It filled up way faster than I would like. It's very rare our ground ever freezes. I couldn't believe it
Good job buddy. Winter work is no fun. Especially when you're not used to it. That overflow should work fine. Take care. Stay warm.
Thanks a lot buddy! I wish I could just hibernate during the winter 🤣

It's a good thing we don't have many ducks around here. Or I'd probably do the same haha
Looks good Lindsay for what you was working with. Be safe and God bless.
Appreciate it brother!

Man yall got lucky. It was frozen over a week and now everything is flooding from rain. Gonna be a tough winter

Thanks a lot brother. Yeah I figure it'll dry up around June lol. I needed a Jimmy. Those pipes were a little aggravating by myself
@@smithworx1091 it's hard to put those pipes by yourself. Especially in the cold mud. But you got it done. Your doing great work buddy.

Appreciate it bro! I hear we're all gonna get some cold weather soon.
Shew weeeee! That was some nasty conditions! Got it in though! 😀
1 out of 5 stars.... would not recommend 🤣🤣
Looks like a good place for a pond. Now I see u expanding it making it a lot bigger. But on the other side leave a few groups of trees
I figure rook will want it bigger lol
Nice work bro, gonna be a nice pond when the grass comes back, thanks for sharing
Appreciate it bro. I'll be glad to see some green!
Good video as usual, Jimmy must take off during deer season. I see a trend of Rook pawning work off on you, just kidding, yall stay warm.
Thanks brother. I got to find Jimmy something to do. He's getting old on me lol
Looks good buddy, be safe. Keep up the good work.
Thanks a lot brother
Awesome Job!!
Appreciate it bro!
Nice work like always brother!
Thanks a lot bro!
considering the conditions i say you did a great job..most other people would have just given up and went home..
Thanks a lot buddy. I hate that it looks like a mess.
Like dig on the roks 😮 God job buddy!
Thanks man. I'm glad we don't have a lot of frozen ground
@@smithworx1091 I can imagine, especially when there are these types of jobs to complete.. will you put some riprap at the outlet of the pipe?

Appreciate it man. I think we got around 3 or 4 inches of sleet and snow. Schools were shutdown over a week
If you use a regular pond overflow fitting you would be able to get more depth on your pipes
Are you talking about a riser?

Pond filled up quick
Yes sir. It'll be completely full after today
Nice work ... Can you do a quick overview of what the beeping is and what the little screen and moving lights tell you ? Thanks
@PurpleNovember Cheers

@@smithworx1091 Nice one... thanks
Man y’all got it a lot worse than we did. That pond turned out nice.
Thanks buddy. I hear we're all about to get it again
Hey, that pond filled pretty fast.
12 degrees here.
It did. It'll be completely full after today. You can keep that 12 degrees haha
It looks beautiful bro . Put in some Deer blinds
Thanks brother! The house is a deer blind 🤣🤣
@@smithworx1091 ...GGGG ! Got it
I thought you said in the first video of this project you were only going to be there a few days.....LOL
Yes.... only 3 days.... which is now 3 weeks! 🤣🤣
We thought we would at least see Rook mixing the concrete?
🤣🤣 I would've definitely filmed that! He always finds a way out of helping me
That's gonna be a pretty pond when finished frozen ground is horrible to work with.
I believe it will too. Can't wait till the spring so I can finish this thing
If you had a board cut to put in front of the pipe to push against you will save yourself some aggravation down the road .
Thanks buddy. I didn't think of that
It’s a shame you can’t call Jimmy to bring your dump truck to haul from a barrow pit on the hill!
I know. It's just so far away.
Hi buddy
Hey Niklas!
Anyone ever tell you that you look like Bubbles from trailer park boys? Just need thick glasses
🤣🤣🤣 all the time bro! I get asked for autographs and pictures too
