      Removing a thermostat or timer is sometimes needed if they're faulty as they can cause the boiler to not work.
      Also, if you're moving house you might want to take your Hive or Nest smart thermostat with you.
      I used 'keep boiler working' in the title because if you just remove the wires without adding a link then the boiler won't work.

    I have a question, if i live in a rental building and the landlord is setting my thermostat for the ac and everytine i turn it down to 70°F he turns it back to 76°F remotely. Is there a way i can bypass his preset or remove his ability to remotly set my thermostat. Its an LG thermostat. Thanks for the video;

      I don't deal with AC in England but it sounds like he might have a smart thermostat and controlling it from his phone.
      You'd probably have to disconnect it (like in this video) and fit a different one.
