Honestly, this is very useful. I genuinely use what works for me (I'm very texture sensitive), and what's available. I've found that I will be going to singular ones for certain projects. I will, however, make tester plushies to see what works best, then stick with that one. Thank you for this though! It's definitely something I'll be keeping on mind when I go shopping for yarn
Very informative video. I love videos like this since it gives light and details to what is usually overlooked when making amigurumis. I hope you have more videos like this. thank you!!
I'm a beginner and I started with plush yarn. I didn't have find it hard to see the stitches at all, but I can't find them with acrylic😭 I did the exact small turtle shown in the video and it turned out AMAZING
I bought the Lion Brand 24/7 cotton, and it looks really good! It says to use a G-6 (4 mm) hook, but I played around with it and ended up using a 2.75 mm hook for my project. The yarn is mercerized so it has sheen to it.
I just had to take a moment to thank you for this video about different types of yarn to use on amigurumi projects.
You’re welcome 🥰

So beautiful design 😍 ❤
Wow awesome info cheers 👍
How do determine what weight /size of yarn? I size 3, 5, or 8 good for amigurumi animals.
Most tutorials say you should try a smaller hook than recommended
Thank you soooo much
Hi for cotton how much ply yarn should we use?

Love your channel and I have a challenge: a hedgehook 🦔
