This ship is my favorite ship design in all of sci-fi. I've been so giddy to see Jerac's progress in designing the T-70 in the past few months on his Inatagram. I'm so grateful to see it released now and finally see that there's a lego model that does the T-70 justice. Congrats to Jerac and the BrickVault team, I can't wait to build my own of one these soon!
Using the black design with the darker nacelles and orange accents swapped out for dark gray would make a pretty neat alternative take on a Stealth X from the original post-Endor continuity.
This was already 11/10 in difficulty. KKtHXBYE for removing all the structural elements to make that triangular livery... that takes it right up to 12/10
Was just building the 75286 General Grevious' Starfighter last night and realized I'd love to see your take on the Soulless One in Lego. I'd also LOVE to see Jerac's take on a TIE Reaper!
The problem with TIE Reaper is that it would be a very large ship, consuming easily most of my time for building for at least half of a yerar or more. I much prefer to build several MOCs in that time, some of them with instructions, than make a single large one. And I can't just make it as a pure MOC and then consider to make instructions or not; for a MOC to be buildable by general public it has to be built in a different way. You can't add instructions later on. So... I'd like to but I prefer to make more smaller models instead.
Wow. I had to buy the plan on brickvault immediately. So great. Could you ask Jerac to build a Slave 1 please. The new book of boba Fett would be the perfect reason.
Looking great! I would be willing to rebuy/rebuild my T-65 if Jerac were to update his original instructions to integrate this S-foil opening mechanism into that. Just saying.
Unfortunately impossible as it is now. I was BARELY able to make this all fit and work for this little droid; the plate he sits on is crucially structural. That said if some brave soul overcomes this challenge please tell me!
Looks fantastic! You guys ever think about making a New Republic T-85 X-Wing? EC Henry has a fantastic realistic render of the model on TH-cam, you could use that as inspiration if you wanted to make that vehicle a lego model.
I never liked the X-wing T-70. I always thought that it doesn't look right. Not in live-action and not in official lego. However, for whatever reason, I love the BrickVault version.
Will you guys be making any Mocs from the new (or old) dune movie, I’m working on a UCS scale ornithopter and I’d love to see your guys take on that beautiful and iconic vehicle
Is it possible to cross out parts that you already have before ordering? I have the 2015 model and I'm sure It'd save a lot by checking out the canopy and other pieces it came with before buying this.
Hello, quick question, can I get all the parts for this moc on the Lego official pick a brick? And If possible could you give an estimate of the price?
@@jarosawksiazczyk3082 I first too thought the dark spot is the torpedo launcher, but then i looked at pictures from google and noticet that the launchers were in the middle. Btw theres a other youtuber that built a MOC about Poes T-70 X-wing and he didnt include the torpedo launchers either, its probalby too hard to build with them. Edit: I just noticed that youre the guy that made the MOC, i wasnt really paying attention. Btw really cool MOC i'll buy it in the future, when i have the money.
If I had to give my two cents, I never really liked the T-70 (sequel era) X-Wing design. The separating engine turbines look good at a glance, but they are really distracting if you keep looking at them. The thinner, less chonky wings also look flimsier when compared to the T-65B (OT era) version. The fact that they combine into a single wing is a cool idea, but it comes at the sacrifice of making the bottom wings look different from the upper wings - another kind of dissonance. The overall effect creates this visual contrast between the smaller wings and the nose of the ship - a look that emphasizes weight in the nose of the ship but not the wings. OT era ships like the Y-Wing and T-65B X-Wing have this chonky look to them that also gives them some appearance of weight and strength in the frame. These new X-Wings don't have that.

I’m glad we can share similar opinions
@@eliwilson1146 I built mine back in January! Bought the pieces off bricklink, the instructions come with parts lists that you can upload there.
I have waited for these x wing variants for a long time you have no idea.
Oh it’s beautiful
Jerac is hands down the best Lego Star Wars mini fig scale fighter builder
Largely not a fan of the sequel era vehicle designs but the T-70 is badass
First Order's vehicles are generally pretty sick, too. Though admittedly I just really like the look of their TIEs and upgraded AT-ST.
that's because the t-70 is based on the original ralph mcquarrie art LOL
Really good to see more sequel trilogy designs! Now hopefully someone can make a minifig scale version of the new Y-wing...
And B-Wing
AMAZING!! I’d like to see the resistance Y wing sometime in the future (:
If I had to build another y-wing a clone one looks a bit more interesting, hmm.
@@jarosawksiazczyk3082 true
I'd love to the orange and white version Poe flies in TROS.
Put your phone on high contrast/ color inversion mode lol

i just bought the gunship and i have never been more excited!
What A Great Moc The T-70 Is A Great Starfighter
Man the next thing he should work on is one for Poe’s X-wing in TROS and Snap’s from then too with the full astromech inside

@@jarosawksiazczyk3082 Gotcha
Another wonderful build by Jerac.
I have to finish building my original trilogy collection first but Poe's T-70 is definitely on my wishlist
The way the wings open to Battle Mode its so much better than those weird rubberbands
Wow. I had to buy the plan on brickvault immediately. So great.
Could you ask Jerac to build a Slave 1 please. The new book of boba Fett would be the perfect reason.
It’s clear from your voice how proud you guys are of your newest additions, and you should be. These are god damn beautiful.
These look gorgeous!
Wow that's amazing man
I’m usually not a fan of sequels but damn this looks great!
A rogue one A5 juggernaut would be great addition
These look great.
Great design, I'd be cool to see an At-St hauler at some point
Yesss ohhh yess I’ve been waiting for this forever still waiting on that MTT
This custom design looks way slicker and smoother than an ordinary official lego T-70 x wing set
That's the point
These look sick! I have both of the play set versions but these look much better.
YAY! So excited for this
Just an amazing design, the only thing I feel like is missing is the "belly canon" we can see at the beggening of the 7th film
I like the look of the build, it would be cool to see a clone wars Y wing as well
I'd like to see a F1 car or something like that, you guys would do a great job
A minifig scale rb7 would be cool
Awesome!
Glad to see Jerac finally made a T-70, been waiting on his design for awhile
It looks amazing!!!
It was about time XD
so awesome to use sai for the canons
Would love to see Poe’s Xwing from episode 9 in this style
NGL I want Jerac to make a t-85 x wing
I really don’t know why Lego doesn’t do expert sets like these. USC sets are great but often too big.
LETS GO HE USED THE CIRCULAR ENGINES
I had no idea the T-70 had split wings. Cool!
Looks amazing! You guys should do the UT AT
been hoping for this...sweeeet
Should definitely make the Rise of Skywalker poe Xwing so we can put an R2 unit in there
Man if jerac changed the s foil mechanism I hope he does an update for the t-65
I’d love to see a German fw190
You should do a final order star destroyer
The fact that the engine turbine splits in half will never look right to me
Watched Jerac design this kit on Instagram. Kinda neat to see the design process in action.
Been messaging Jerac about this beauty on Instagram recently, love to see it
I kinda canceled it today morning to just un-cancel it today evening :D
Nothing beats a feeling of finding a critical flaw hours before release.
btw, official request: Minifig scale Ebon Hawk please ;)
Looking great! I would be willing to rebuy/rebuild my T-65 if Jerac were to update his original instructions to integrate this S-foil opening mechanism into that. Just saying.
Somewhere I saw a rumor he’s been building a ver 2 of the T-65. I hope he releases it!
I wonder how hard it would be to adapt the design so that an R-series astromech can fit in the socket as can be seen with R2-D2 in Episode IX.
Unfortunately impossible as it is now. I was BARELY able to make this all fit and work for this little droid; the plate he sits on is crucially structural.

Can you customize the color design instead of the regular color?
When you get the parts list is there a way to order everything on the list without having to individually search for every part?
Are there sets of these that has the peices you’d need for the x wing

Hello, quick question, can I get all the parts for this moc on the Lego official pick a brick? And If possible could you give an estimate of the price?
I prefer the T-65 X-wings over their descendants far better. The T-70s might be more powerful, but you can't beat the original.
Tbh the only thing I don’t like about this is that the cockpit angle is way too obvious
The torpedo launcher is missing.
It is there, look where the darker patch on the side of the grey one is.
@@jarosawksiazczyk3082 The launcher is more in the middle not at the bottom.
