    Great video. I used this review to buy this phone for my wife. Would have gotten the S21 but she saves everything on her phone and with no SD card that would not work. The 90 Hertz refresh was one of the main reasons I picked this phone and the price for a 5G phone.

    "feels speedy" is a worthless assessment of it capability. running a game with a fps counter to test the igpu and a video/image render time to test the cpu realworld output. testing load in times in open world games for testing storage speed and how well the motherboard and chipset "ties" the ipu ,cpu ,ram and storage together. also hertz refresh rates are more of a marketing bs than anything useful. what you should be looking at is the pixel response time or more exactly g2g pixel transition time (some other standard may be used to fudge the end results numbers to make it look a little better on paper)this applies mostly to monitors and tvs because you do not have much of a choice with mobile displays as the information is never disclosed.

    Hey will you be covering the Redmi Note 10 Pro? You may have heard that it has a 120 Hz AMOLED 1080p display, the SD 732G and a Samsung HM2 108MP sensor on its primary camera. I completely understand if you can't cover it due to its unavailability in North America. That phone is literally 300 dollars. It does not have 5G, but it does not matter to me. Weirdly in my place, this phone has 60Hz screen for some reasons lol. It's pretty good phone to get 5G for dirt cheap price. Fun fact: MediaTek is the biggest smartphone chip vendor in 2020, they've actually made tremendous improvement in their chip lineup in performance and efficiency as of late. Their chips actually give real run for the money against mid-range chips from more established Qualcomm, hence why it's so popular at least in Asian market.
    Hopefully you can review A52 5G as well which I feel that phone is way better all-rounder than this albeit for higher price but seems worth it for what it offers. Great video Mark 👌🏼

  • @danjones3402
    @danjones3402 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Had this phone and I had to return it. Might be the 5g antenna they used in it because I had it up against my LG k92 5g and the LG was much faster and LG doesn't even make phones anymore. System was lagging and more than a few times it wouldn't even auto rotate. I ended up getting A Motorola Stlyus 5g and the internet connection on that is much quicker and the phone feels more sturdy in the hands when compared to the A32 5g. Maybe the 4g version is better because it feels like Samsung just made it cheap just to call it a 5g phone. I had a s9 for 3 years so this is no hate on them just stating my experience with the phone. It feels dated like it should of came out a few years ago as a budget phone. Maybe it has been better for you guys?

    Have been using a Galaxy s3 since c.2012 and will be trading it in for a free A32 5G from T-Mobile and a 2 year agreement. On the s3, web browsing is slow, some apps no longer work and can't install new ones and trying to find an OEM that works is a gamble, but is the free trade in worth it or should I have paid for an s9 or s10?

    I read somewhere, T-mobile, my carrier, is offering an A32 5G with a 2 yr agreement if you trade in your old device... to boost their 5G numbers.
    Based on this review and others, I'm gonna pass. The hardware specs are okay for a budget phone, don't care really about cameras, but no water resistance and I prefer the AMOLed display. Now, if they offered the A52 5G at a deep discount...

    I'd rather buy a Redmi Note 10 Pro Max which has a 120hz(adaptive refresh rate) AMOLED(700 nits and 1200nits on HDR10) display, Snapdragon 732G, 5020mah battery, Gorilla Glass 5 front and back, 108MP camera, and 6/8GB of RAM for $240/$290 respectively.
