    Thanks so much for such an easy to follow video! You literally saved me from spending money on a new battery & trying to replace it myself!😆 I'll just get a new phone in a few months!
    Take care 🙂

    If you wish to do a single (my own, as is the case) phone, you must weigh your options. Otherwise, this is an excellent instructional video!

    Thank you for the blow dryer recommendation❤ I really appreciate that take since I don't have a heat gun. Hopefully it works ❤

    Stuff like this annoys me tremendously. The fact they bury the battery under everything just because they don't want us to buy a replacement battery just screams incompetence. When my phone breaks, I think I'm going to switch to a different company, preferably one who hasn't nuked the headphone jack.

      Battery ia also buried so you are less likely to remove it. Therefore your phone is pinging to towers, registring your phones location always. Big brother wants to constantly know, where Billy is at.

      Yes and no its not THAT buried, better than apple for sure

    Was it really a problem for us to just replace a battery? They really want you to just buy a new phone every time the littlest thing goes wrong with it.

    • @DIYGeardo

      The process is quite complicated, but this model bit easy. And I agree what you are saying..

      @@DIYGeardo Very great video, and I apologize for seeming rude. I just wish I didn't have to go through all of this. Im probably just gonna get a new phone due to having an upgrade anyways

    • @DIYGeardo
      @DIYGeardo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@angusyoung119 no you are not. Well I understand the frustration you feel on repairs. For model like a32, it should be straight forward. But as per manufacturer perspective they want you to buy a33 😊 without repairing. And also sometimes I encourage customers to buy new phones instead of repairs. Because the repair cost is high

    Can i heat the battery with a hair dryer? I accidentally damaged the battery slightly when replacing the charging port. Basically i took the opening tool next to the battery when i was taking off the 2nd cover as it didnt want to come off. Anyway new charing port works and now its time for new battery. Or could i maybe use isoprophyl alcohol?

    • @DIYGeardo
      @DIYGeardo  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If the battery is damage physically, then do not use heat,Try to pry it slowly. Will take time. Using alcohol is good, but use very little, if you use it excessive and somehow goes to the screen, it can have issues. Best method is disconnect and pry the battery.

      @@DIYGeardo i tried to take off the battery but it wouldn't go anywhere. I ended up using alcohol but still wouldn't go. I asked some people and the amount i damaged the battery isn't a lot as its just slightly pressed in on the side and by the looks of it it's just the soft outer layer. I ended up sending the new battery back for a refund as I just couldn't get it out. The battery didn't get bulky or anything. I ended up leaving it so alcohol evaporates over night then I charged it to 100% with cover off in a safe place and the battery is good not bulky or anything. Now after like 3 charges its still fine so I'm just using the old battery. My old phone was much easier to repair as that had a removable battery and generally everything there was pretty easy to remove. I mean here also but I just decided to open it from the wrong place by the battery when I was taking off that second cover.

    Good. Why is Samsung Galaxy A32 5G so hard. Is that super glue? It would never open again?
    How much does the battery cost 🤔

    I have a heat gun but hot with that fine of a nozzle. I may attempt using metal tape or metal tape with aluminum foil to create a smaller nozzle for this. I'm a bit hopeful my battery will come out that easily. Not sure if I will end up attempting this tho. I do love the a32 I'm sure if not by now soon there will be a better phone out there
