Nice to hear and see Phil Collins's son Nic performing with Mike & The Mechanics. It shows he doesn't play with them because of his heritage, but because he's a fantastic drummer.
Looks like young Phil and drums like him too. Wonder if he can sing as well? Happy to see that his kids have inherited some of his amazing talent. Nic's sister is also a very successful actress btw.
I love this song, one of the most upbeat ones from Genesis! Great interpretation by M+M, and it causes me so much joy to watch Mr. Rutherford so enthustiastically rocking away at 70+!!
Love that Mike is playing the bass! I know they rehearsed this for the last Genesis tour but didn't play it so I guess Mike took this chance to jam it out 👌
I’m not one bit surprised that Mike added this to the set. Genesis had this one all ready for the Last Domino, even having video graphics ready for it. It was ultimately shelved, shame. Nice to see what it could’ve sounded like.
@@316CactusJack I read the same thing somewhere. It would have been great if Phil could have handled it vocally. Also Nic said Supper’s Ready was in the first draft of possible songs to make the setlist on the final Genesis tour. I’d have been beyond overjoyed if they had played that.

Here it is again
That was awesome..band is rocking!
This is actually one of my favourites by Genesis 😊👌
Let's hear it
Saw them in Edinburgh last Wednesday, brilliant night really great mix of tracks, amazing relaxed show but totally rocking as well just so good
I love this song. Thanks so much for posting this.
Just saw them at Milton keynes, absolutely fantastic show and the Genesis stuff....just wow!
Saw the show in Perth tonight. Great musicians on top form.
I saw this in Buxton a few weeks ago and this song was incredible. This video doesn’t do justice to how good he sounded in Buxton. It was amazing 🤩
Really

Mike played bass on "Jesus He Knows Me" when Genesis played it on the We Can't Dance Tour in 1992, while Daryl played guitar.
Love it
Thank you so much for posting, what a bonus this was to an already brilliant gig!

Think the speed was a little too fast for Phil to keep up unfortunatly. I'd of liked to hear it during that tour.

Nice vocal.....
I think Mike misspoke. The song was written in the 90's for WCD, not the 80s.
Good to see Ant get a little guitar time.
Anthony Drennan is a freaking magician. That solo should have been 5 minutes long!
Did they play anything from Smallcreep's Day? Highly doubtful, but curious.
Unfortunately not. The set-list was mostly Mechanics songs, with a few Genesis tracks and one Roachford song.
@@benny_2_2 Thank you for letting me know.
Who’s the vocalist on this tour?
Tim Howar (singing this one) and Andrew Roachford share vocal duties depending on the song.
Help me. I though Paul Carrack was the lead singer?
That was many years ago. I saw them in 2014 and there were Tim and Andrew the lead singer.

6 months of richer
sound is a bit thin guitar not heavy enough apart from that its ok
Anto did the job but Daryl is the best :)
Tim doesn’t sound very good on this one…
I can assure you he sounds just fine live, ir at least the night before anyway
Sounded great from row B 😊 but not so good on video.
Exactly he should rather be a rhythm guitarist & backing vocalist mainly then y not put luke on vocals or maybe Nicholas for some backing vocals
Tim looks better to be a rhythm guitarist not a singer
He’s a pro, but his style is so weird to me.. Like he’s playing some wacky character.. And his rhythm is frantic & goofy..
A singer that get can’t sing very well ,sorry but I’m much better on a bad day ,sorry.
I hope Perth ban you.. no recording !!!
why? without record it won't be possible to see the show for those who can't attend
Ah bless. Bet you were a real little creep at school.
Hope this is still in the set by the time, They come to Plymouth, Just missing that fast Daryl guitar solo at the end.
Thank you. This is superb!
