I appreciate the fact that you address the COST of the materials in your projects. Too many DIY/craft channels don't seem to care about the cost of their builds. As with this one, my mind went straight to Schedule 40 pipe, but of course this build doesn't require that strength, and the lighter and less expensive conduit will do the trick. Thank you.
Time @1:00 = 1 and 5/8 Line Post Eye Top. Great tutorial. I am going to use green 30 inch metal garden stakes. HD didn’t have any 2ft long and 1/4th thick rebar. I also had HD cut each of my 10ft conduit pipes into 3 equal parts. I’m frugal. I didn’t want to waste material.
I've been making Halloween stuff for years and hit a slump for the lack of new ideas. You have re-sparked my interest for making new props for Halloween. Please keep the ideas coming. Mentioning the cost and where you find supplies is a huge help as well. Thank you for sharing all these ideas.
Awesome job. Thanks for posting this. I almost did something like this for this year. But didn't have time. I'll refer to this next year for future ideas. Keep'm coming.
Thank you I love this! This year is the first year we are decorating since items had been stolen three years ago. Looking for items we can make and won't be too upset when stolen.
I LOVE how simple & inexpensive this is (relative to how great it looks!). And any project that gives me the opportunity to play with expandable foam is automatically on my to-do list! I checked out your channel & you have great DIYs---so I subscribed. Is Halloween the best holiday ever, or what! Thanks!
I used exact same skull to make a DEVIL Skull. Turned out awesome. I painted skull a red spray paint and immediately wiped off randomly. Let dry. Add black painted to age it, wipe off immediately. Then I used the clear bags they came in (or some other clear bag), slide the top of head in first to develop the horns. No shrink it with a hot air gun, shaping it to make the pointed 'horns' on top. Hit area of horns 1-2 times then move quickly to shape it curved. I flared the lower half as if it was a shirt, gathered at the neck. Not too much though. Then added black grosgrain ribbon in the gathered part. Might have to glue them because our rain pushed the ribbon off on some of my devil skulls. I was going to open bottom of skull more to add a flicker light but ran out of time as I was building a mausoleum too. I think you could use my devil skulls on top of these fence too, would look awesome too.
VERY affordable! Halloween is my favorite holiday. My health has been getting worse by the year, so it's hard to easily decorate anymore. This looks super easy and gentle on the pocketbook. Thanks for the video. I love it! 👻☠️🎃
thanks Ed for that wonderful tutorial!! your fence definitely looks more awesome than the ones in stores!! keep up the good work! I'm glad i found your channel! it's worth subscribing! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 stay awesome man!
That is wicked super cool! I know what I am doing next year. ;) I have some of those fence toppers (exactly the same look) left over from when my chain link fence went up. - Heidi
Your garden/yard looks amazing, and the roses are so beautiful they go well with the skulls. It appears very visually authentic looking. Do you plan to leave that as a focal point in your garden/yard or will it be dismantled at some point for a future project.
lol i have the same skeletons in my yard on halloween, did you ever think of making a ghost town like the one in beetlejuice? love your videos, halloween is a favorite time for me,keep the videos coming, you are very talented and have some great ideas, love them my friend
Im doing this for this year except I used some cheap white skulls then used some leftover dark wood stain & wiped them clean after a few mins to give them an old & aged look. Just used some scrap wood laying around instead of rebar save a couple bucks
I like the skulls. I pretty much used the same concept except mine is white so it's easier to see at night and I used finials at the top of PVC. Great taste :) Since you have extra chain you might as well make the haunt scene bigger next year right? :)
Can you talk about getting these things to anchor in the ground I broke and waste sooooooo many decorations last year because the ground was too hard for me to get things to sink in, I tried metal stakes, I tried hammers, I tried wetting the ground......its just dirt LOL it was a mess :(
I wonder if I can mount the poles on a weighted base to use in a gymnasium for a school dance... maybe a flange from the plumbing section. I know it throws the cost a bit but it could look like creepy red carpet stanchions
Or same basic build, change out the skull toppers for plain ones, and add lengths of artificial ivy and/or lights for other times of the year.... but what am I saying?? This is Monster Tutorials! Creepy stuff year round FTW!!
Hello Eduardo! Your videos are fantastic. I got such great ideas for Halloween. But I HAVE to know... WHAT is your accent?!? I consider myself as a pretty good guesser when it comes to accents and CANNOT for the life of me figure yours out! Anyway... thank you again for your wonderful videos and my deepest sympathies to you and your family over the loss of your dad. My best, Scott
look good to me me needs some thing just do not know HO some spiky bits may be vines may be skull and jack skull jack that kind of thing got look fore the chain see as post

I buy Halloween supplies like this at Home Depot on my husband's credit card. He thinks the bills are for home repairs, heh.
How well does this do in rain if left out overnight?
