congrats, to you and your wife, Thanks for your video explanation i have my appointment in 2 weeks and im in the same situation, daca recipient married to a citizen . my process also took almost 6 years, your videos have been very helpful to know what to expect.
Congrats to your wife! I was wondering what kind of waiver did they ask your wife for? I have my appointment Dec 7th and I was wondering if I need the waiver for “el perdon” I’m not sure what that waiver is called in English.
sorry i wasnt able to respond back, the comments did not appear on my phone, but you are correct its called el perdon is the waiver, and I hope everything went well.
We were in Juarez for like 6 days. That was because we decided to be there two days prior to her medical appointment just to get the feel for the city.
Congrats to your wife🙏🏻 I have a question! When you guys received the interview appt on her ceac sign in did the "Your case is currently at" change from NVC to Ciudad Juarez Consulate?
Thank you!! It does change, because our lawyer filed everything and he received the email first, and then he told us. Hopefully this helped. if you have any more questions feel free to leave a message. Good luck and thank you again.
They require both doses. Those are very important, because if you don’t have them they won’t let you in to finish your medical exam. But they don’t require the booster.
How did they receive your affidavit support form? Did you have to upload it somewhere? Or did they receive it the day of the first interview when she dropped off her documents?
Well when your packet is being processed with the lawyer he fills it out. It’s all included with the papers because if it’s not filled your packet is incomplete. They upload or send it directly to them depending how the lawyer sends it to immigration. We just had a problem because it expired while pandemic was on, but also next to the consulate we found a lawyer that uploaded it electronically for us. To them directly.
Congratulations ambos , thank you for your video. Una pregunta , the us embassy y sus alrededores es safe ? pronto nos toca ir allá , yo estaré esperando afuera. Did you wait one place or safe walk around ? ese es mi preocupación , y la espera en la fila
Si, está safe. There’s a lot of people also waiting, but also like 30 feet from the US Consulate across the street there’s literally a big mall and a Starbucks as well. Yo esperé afuera en el bridge que está ahí. Suerte con sus cita. It’s like every where .. if you look for trouble you’re gonna find it. Other than that it was a really good experience.
@@JussEdgar thank you for letting me know , era mi preocupación poco en eso eh estado haciendo search online para tener un idea del lugar , thank you for replying back bro. Muchas Bendiciones

She was brought here as a baby. She got the paper of no antecedentes penales over there in Juarez. You don’t need an appointment you just show up to the place and wait in line and it takes literally 5 minutes. The wait is just being line that’s all.
@EdgarReactz thank you for your reply. I was brought here when I was 7, so my lawyer said I needed one and after said I didn't need one. So now I'm just wondering if I should still get one, lol Did they ask her for the letter at the interview?
Hi Edgar I have a question on the long form birth certificate is it call the Apostille or the Authenticated Birth Certificate? For California I hope you could reply back
I’m not sure how it goes In California, but I’m sure it’s the same for almost all the states. But if Called “Certificate of live birth”. As long as your birth certificate has the place of the hospital of where the person is born that the most important information they want to know. At least that is what our lawyer here and in Mexico told us. Hope this helps. It’s in the government website called Vital records.
So the long version of the birth certificate is for the US Citizen? I didn’t know there was a shirt and long version birth certificate for my wife born in Texas
Hi yall i know im probably asking really unimportant questions here im just all over the place right now lol i got my wifes interview for may 15 witch is like a month away! Ive heard so many things about cuidad juarez so me and her are just a bit nervous about all this. You mentioned the interview being at 10 am but you guys got there at 9 30 and waited for 4 hours...so do you have to acount for the wait time or just be checked in 10. Also did it feel secure? Im asking this because i know me and my wife have never done things like this alone and being in a huge crowed area with us being seperated for 4 hours with out a way to reach each other. Sorry for this i just want to get some assurance. Im excited nervous and scared of embarking on this trip.
I also was very scared but trust me when I tell you that it is not that bad. It’s just like any place here in the states. As long as you go and do your stuff like all your appointments it will be fine. Everything you have to do at the consulate is literally all in walking distance. Security everywhere as well. Only thing further is the place for the carta de no antecedentes penales. The wait time for her last interview was 4 hours but just to check in, because her interview took like 5 minutes. Yeah also I have never done a trip like this alone, but I did take my parents because they wanted to go with us. So good luck and everything will be fine. Also sometimes the place you stay they can also help you go to get your appointments all done.
@@JussEdgar thank you for your response. I'm looking into those groups you mentioned in another video. @@Thmoon1985 hi, it went okay some things happened that where out of our control but my wife is with Me now and we made it over! The things that went out of our control was that the person helping me, he's not lawyer he works for catholic charities, messed up on the pick up address for her visa and caused us to travel last minute to a city 5 hours away on bus to pick up her visa and get back the same day because me and a close friend of mine who came to helped. We kinda ran out of money and we couldn't afford to stay in mexico longer, food and nights at the hostel, so we had to go on bus for 10 hours to get the visa there and back and get out before we ran out of money😳 and time. Because the hostel said they couldn't help us stay longer we would have had to find a hotel that was more expensive. No. Everything electronic wise you have to leave with whoever you come with. Only thing you bring is documents, because if you forget they make you step out of line and give it to someone else. Then you have to go to back of line. Hope this helps.
