That is common with early to mid 90's cards. They are known for bricking up. It was the glossy finish on the cards.

As someone that collected these when new... The UV coating on them made them stick together when they were brand new. These look a little more solidly stuck together than when they were new as I don't ever recall having new product be quite so difficult to separate. Stuff once it was a couple years old would be this stuck together. Honestly these aren't bad for being 28 years old.
Also Ally, Ezri & Jadzia were two different people & characters. Dax was a symbiote that got passed from host to host. Jadzia was the host for the Dax symbiote at the start of DS9. And when Terry Farrell left the show they brought in Nicole de Boer to take over the Dax role using a new host (Ezri as played by Nicole). So the characters were Jadzia Dax & Ezri Dax.

At least they were pretty much in good shape, had some with the plastic coating actually welded together, the whole box ended up in the trash. Love opening old boxes, never know what you end up with, the Voyager set is one of my favourites. Oh and Ally, Timi is waiting for you to go bald. 🤣

I think a good portion of the clumping issues come down to heat during storage... unfortunately you don't know for sure until you crack em and find out. 🤷‍♂️

Plastic also changes composition as it ages, along with the heat, it creates more problems as they age. They sometimes even change colour, yellowing is a problem and gets darker sometimes too.

Oh wow, Gargoyles was an AMAZING cartoon. It still holds up and is just as captivating to me as a middle aged adult as it was when I was in my teenage years when it came out. As for Star Trek, you said you haven't seen DS9, which is a shame. It grew to be my favorite Star Trek series, even edging out The Next Generation. It is completely worth watching. It may start a wee bit slow, but when it finds it's legs DS9 goes on to be one of the best and most influential science fiction series of all time. Can't wait to see all of this box and the Gargoyles!
