  • Mr. Richard Nutt went to work on the farm to help support his family when he was just 10 years old after losing his daddy. Folks like him, are what make agriculture and this country so great. Join us again for another incredible Growing America Story.

This is a Real Man. If anyone was wondering what one looked and talked like. Rare in the world today ..

What a gratifying feeling it must be to make it to 78 and say you're satisfied. Hope I can do the same.

I’m 26 and enjoy being around and talking to old timers like this guy, they’ve been through more than my generation and know hard work and appreciate things. Most advice the old timers gave me has done nothing but benefit my life!

I'm 70 years old , I have farmed ever since I graduated high school. Actually I farmed my whole life, When I was a child I knew I was going to farm, it was the only thing I wanted to do. I am just like this man , he is a true American. I'm just as excited about starting this crop as I was my first one in 1970.

Watching these stories about American Farmers I see some of the hardest working and wise men on the planet. It must be rewarding to feel that way about your path you chose and be able to say it at age of 78.
