What is your resonance level and how many days into your account are you? (check it through the all hero event)
13 Days and Resonance Level 120
14 days, resonance level 110, full f2p.
5 days, reso 85 f2p
7 days- 80 R
on my alt acc day 4 (just started) resonance level 73
Requirements seems too strict for casuals unfortunately.
I’m legitimately want to know how y’all think y’all wouldn’t be at 240 resonance in 4 months time because I have a f2p account at 110 with 4 120s rn

Any game that benefits casuals vs committed players is flawed. If ur casual u have to be content with being behind

@@shallow_nights_rain no their definitely not 😂. It takes about two days to lvl one character when essence is needed. And all my characters are at 140 rn. And ofc the more u lvl up the more essence is needed. Unless a bunch of events come out that give essence then maybe

Locking a new season behind resonance lv 240 makes absolutely no sense. Why would they make something where 98% of the player base won't be able to access it during it?

@@thec9424 When it comes to hero essence, I don't buy anything but the daily instant afk attempts (all of them), I see 10 resonance levels every 3 or so days.
I hit 140 and afk stage 648 yesterday, 40-ish on legend trial, after 18 days of playing, and I'm a low spender who just buy daily rewards 🤣
So, at current rates, I'll be 200-220 by the time the season starts, assuming I began playing the moment the server launched (I think I did)

@Ferrolune But what about all the other rewards like story/arena/bosses/etc? I'm not going to say it's bad until we see how many can access it when it drops and before it leaves.

He will get in just fine, he's just a bit behind me and it looks like I'll be 240 for all characters around 10-20 days after it comes out. Currently 130. He will have a minimum of 3 months to play the content, lmao. People just aren't doing the math. Yeah this 240 thing is horrific for people who aren't playing daily and min maxing, but it's not a huge deal for those who are. Anyone half arse min maxing and playing the game daily and getting all the essence that they can will be able to do at least 3 months of the season as f2p. Yeah alot of us will miss the first couple weeks but, will be plenty left.
@@EXRDaBeasta So basically, if we treat the game as a full time job, we'll be able to play the season for a few weeks, while the content and rewards are most likely tuned to cover the entirety of all 4 months. Brilliant design!

I wasn't all that diligent with pushing stages and playing pretty casually when I first started the game, but I was nearing the end of it. I am in PTR 10. The max stage of AFK so far is 1125 and I have already cleared it and 100% everything on the map. I currently am resonance level 220. I am unsure if it's possible to get to 240 as 100% F2P unless they give out more hero essence ever since they nerfed the Abyss rewards. They used to give out 600 hero essence per stage cleared and now it's only 100. I don't think I would have been able to get from 0 to 240 in the span of 42 days, personally. But we don't exactly all start from 0 so hopefully it is achievable for everyone!
The 100 and 200 gem refreshes are worth way more than a single pull. The dust is arguably more valuable than hero copies when it comes to pushing progression. I max my refreshes every single day.

@@yendorthegrand4078 I believe he's talking about buying the 2 hour AFK bonus. At 3:31 in the video, you see that hourglass on the right-hand side that has a 0/2? If you click it, ,you can spend diamonds on 2 hours worth of AFK resources, up to 5 times per day, I think.

@@MrMoraleTop5 even in four months its going to be highly unlikely that most f2p players or newer players will be able to reach 240. And the problem with that is, the season contains exclusive content that will ONLY be available during the seaon. After the season ends, all the story and stuff will remain available sure, but you won't be able to do/get any of the exclusive rewards. THAT is the problem.

I wonder if it's a like separate instance where the rec is to get to 240. And anything you do in the song of strif instance, you keep in that server, but don't necessarily get to keep everything when you leave
I am glad that the rewards will always be there, Hopefully its all the rewards. If so then the resonance level isn't as important. I think we have just over 4 weeks to get to 240. And it last for 4 months at a time.

Once you're past like AFK stage 400 I'll say, I don't see the point in saving daily collection for the end of the day. At that point, each upgrade of hero essence is increasing your rate by 1-3 per day. So even if you push 30 more stages, 8 hour's gets you 1/3 of a day, so absolute max of an extra 12 extra essence, if every tier got you +3, which it won't. So realistically saving until the end of the day gets you 1-2 more essence.

Hit 525 and at this point I just collect everything right away so I can potentially have enough essence to lvl someone to use in the daily stuff. When I do try to push it is only about 10 stages at a time now or even 5.
why don't you use general acorns to supplement the ascension of your characters? what is the reasoning behind saving those?
today's my 15th day i got my 2nd 2 heroe to 130 today and ill be needing 2-3 more days to lvl up another hero to 130 and the need to grind heroes to lvl 240 in 42 days is absolutely Bonkers as a F2P, also given that im only pulling heroes on pity none of my heroes are at legend+

Everyone seems pretty up in arms about the requirements but are failing to see that it's only dropping for servers that are 42 days old. So by the time season drops for most people they will have hit the 240 lvl req. Most people are saying it's taking them less than a month to get to that point of daily playing.
The wolf and bear boss all start on xx days after server creation and players need to reach specific zones and levels to unlock them, and any F2P player can easily get to these bosses before they open up. With the season, I don't think F2P have any chance to reach resonance 240 right at the 42 day mark (which is very weird considering how they handle the world bosses) unless we get some crazy event for dust or maybe they modified the bear boss for official release and it now drops a ton of dust to help us out. Otherwise the whales will get to experience it first while F2P (hell even light spenders/dolphins that don't buy the dust pop ups) have to wait for 1-3 weeks, which is a very bad look for the game.
Hope they will either adjust the start date or there is some big dust event to help every player reach 240.

It's day 14 of me playing, Yay free Vala. I have 2 characters at 140. I get about 1970 of the purple resource a day from AFK, so, I can level up a character roughly once per day.
In 3 days, I'll have my resonance level at 140, most likely. From there, I'm 100 levels away from the Song of Strife's required 240 level.
It will take me roughly 50 days to get all my characters from 140 to 240. I'm pretty sure my server's been up a day or 2 before I started playing.
Y'all might be wondering what I'm talking about with leveling once per day. I have enough gold/xp to level, but remember, to level from 130 to 131, 140 to 141, 150 to 151, etc., you need about 2k of that purple dust resource. As soon as I'm able to level a character from 130 to 131, I can bump them straight up to 140.
They really need to increase the rate that we can earn that purple dust, or it'll just be whales playing in the Song of Whales.
Luckily with that math, we know alot of us will be able to play at least 3 months worth of it. We can join in late, it's not like we will miss the season if we aren't 240 on the day it drops. You are about 4 days ahead of me in progress, lots of people are around our levels. So many of us who play daily will get a minimum of 3 months to enjoy the season. Just the whales will get to enjoy all 4 months.

Idc what they do, all i care about right now is for them to stop limiting attempts for afk stages lol. I know you've voiced that in your other videos, but im curious if others feel the same. Also wonder if the devs are aware of the feedback

@@In3dRes Its there at any stage, it only appears if you keep spamming retry and keep losing lol. And dam for you to ask that you're on a good track then ahah. You must not lose or spam retry alot. I'm around the same stages as you too but i tend to get stuck alot and end up spamming retry lol

We are here to give you new content! There tower of abyss, but you cant play it unless youre a whale right now! And next month is our new seasonal content! Which you also cant do unless you whale! ENJOY!"
Tower of Abyss is reasonable its for End game content but this Season isnt

Your server has to have been live for 42 days, which is enough time for f2p daily players to make it to 240....
I feel like most people would've stopped playing long before reaching the required resonance level, specially if there wont be anything to either speed things up or intisen them to grind it out. Get to level 240!? I'm day 8, struggling to get to 85 Reso, AFK stage 270, cannot get nearly enough books and dust isn't exactly easy to come by either. Even throwing some money at this game I don't feel like I'm progressing particularly fast. Which is a shame because I'm enjoying it. I wish there was more stuff to do wandering around the map and adventuring as opposed to just doing the labyrinth or whatever.

What I don’t understand is why they would lock it behind level 240, my main enjoyment from this game has just been to level up my characters and that is like the end goal for me, and since they went on and on about catering to both new and old players how is this going to cater to new or returning players? It just seems a little contradicting to what they said in the dev notes imo
nope afk stage is usell untill you reach the cap when you can convert the exp to dust, at 1000 afk stage doens.t impact so much...

You will absolutely, just not on the day that it drops. You might be able to join 2 or 3 weeks after it drops and 3 months to enjoy of it. I think some people are believing that if they arent 240 by that 42nd day, that they just can't ever join it. No way that'll be the case. Once ya hit 240 im sure you'll be able to start it.

Different server different time
Take my account for example, cleared the map(defeated every enemies and chest in the map ) gotten every exp in keith shop complete daily quests, finished all town quest and climb the tower as high as possible and push the afk stage until i can't for 30 days.

Hmmm 🤔 lvl 240 in my opinion just means at some point they will be trying to separate the whales, dolphins, and F2P players and those players who want to create multiple accounts not likely to happen anymore. But, I don’t know the content they will have added for us to level up our resonance but it does seem like they will be pushing for more people to spend some kind of money to get to that higher resonance level if you want the exclusive content rewards whatever they may be. So yes I do think they want to truly truly separate each tier whale dolphin and F2P to show the gap and also not force you but make you want to spend money too catch up to the content because they out a 4month time frame on it let’s me know they realistically know how long it should take too reach that 240 lvl and I hope they have enough content for 4 months because of not it will backfire badly on them gate keeping players out of content just because of 240 lvl requirements

I have 2 supremes and 3 legendary + (base a rank) units as F2p but all my other s rank heroes are epic , the hero distribution is weird

If the season is running 4 months f2p will get there, but there better be content to even support it for 4 months and no punishments for f2p people that get there late.

Yeah nah. Level 240 is outside the reach of anyone but whales. Even super sweaties that treat the game as a job will struggle to reach it before the season ends.

Resonance 240 is hard for p2p and absolutely insane for f2p. I fully expect for only a fraction of a percent of f2p players being able to actually participate in that season unless they release something that gives a ton of dust before the season starts.
